Abstract

Resumo : O presente trabalho buscou caracterizar a importância da mediação do professor para o trabalho com a mídia televisiva na Educação Infantil. Então traçamos alguns objetivos como: entender o processo das mídias televisivas e a influência na infância a fim de descobrir como estas se fazem presentes na escola e compreender e observar o papel do professor diante do uso dos programas infantis que passam na televisão. Para isso, buscamos em Belloni ideias iniciais sobre a mídia televisiva, a fim de identificarmos sua influência na vida das crianças e seu impacto em sua vida escolar. Depois, realizamos uma pesquisa bibliográfica nos sites da CAPES e do Domínio público com o objetivo de caracterizar a formação do professor no trabalho com a televisão. Compreendemos que a televisão é vista como meio de informação e formação importante para a sociedade. O poder da sua influência depende do modo como é utilizada, refletida e integrada por cada telespectador. Logo, o uso da televisão deve ser supervisionado, sendo necessário o diálogo e a reflexão sobre as informações transmitidas. Identificamos que esse deve ser o trabalho do professorao abordar esse recurso com as crianças. Sem um aprofundamento e discussão do que está sendo visto na telinha, os alunos simplesmente podem ser influenciados pela mídia a reproduzirem de maneira passiva as ações. Desde modo, incitamos com esse trabalho uma reflexão nos professores sobre os impactos da mídia televisiva e sua formação para trabalhar com tal.

Abstract : The present paper has aimed to characterize the importance of the teacher’s mediation when working with television media on the infant education. So we traced some objectives as: to understand the process of the television media and its influence on the infancy to discover how these are present at school and to understand and observe the teacher’s role when using the educational shows thatrun on TV. With these goals, we researched in Belloni initial ideas about the television media, to identify its influence on the children’s life and its impact on their academic life. After that, we did a bibliographic research on CAPES and Domínio Público sites with the goal of characterizing the teacher’s formation on the work with television. We comprehend that the television is seen as an important way of information and formation to the society. The power of its influence depends on how it’s utilized, reflected and integrated by each spectator. So, the use of the television must be overseen, being necessary the dialog and the reflection aboutwhat’s being transmitted. We identified that this must be the teacher’s work when approaching this resource with the children. Without a deep discussion about what is being seen on the screen, the students simply can be influenced by the media to reproduce the actions in a passive way. With this paper we incite the teachers to have a reflection about the impacts of the television media and their formation to work with such.
