Efeitos do treinamento de professores em comportamentos anti-sociais dos alunos

Abstract

Resumo: Os estudos sobre comportamento anti-social aprendido sugerem que a sua base pode estar nos fatores: familiar, grupo de amigos, nível comunitário e escolar (Stoff, Breiling e Maser, 1997; Bandura e Inesta, 1975; Kazdin e Buela-Casal, 1997; e Hawkins, Arthur e Olson, 1997). Este trabalho dedica especial atenção ao fator escolar, notadamente na relação professor/aluno. Foi desenvolvido em 2000, um treinamento de habilidades sociais/comportamentais com carga total de 24 h, a três professoras regentes de uma escola pública municipal de Curitiba, que atendem alunos de três classes da 4a série do Ensino Fundamental (n 64), objetivando a redução de comportamentos anti-sociais e aumento de comportamento pró-sociais dos referidos alunos. Os alunos foram filmados em sala de aula em pré e pós-teste, assim como também foi gravado o áudio das professoras nesses dois momentos. Não se confirmou a hipótese de que as professoras ampliariam a técnica de reforçamento positivo junto aos alunos, no entanto, demonstraram uma sensível redução no comportamento de ameaça e punição, apoiando a hipótese de que o treinamento reduziria tais comportamentos. Não houve redução de comportamentos anti-sociais dos alunos em pós-teste (t= 0,64; p= 0,522), porém houve aumento estatisticamente significativo de comportamentos pró sociais em pós-teste (t=3,25; p=0,002), após o treinamento das professoras.

Abstract: The studies about learned unsocial behavior suggest that its background may be found in the following factors: familiar, groups of friends, community and school level (Stoff, Breiling and Maser, 1997; Bandura and Inesta, 1975; Kazdin and Buela-Casal, 1997; e Hawkins, Arthur and Olson, 1997). Our research dedicates special attention to the school level, mostly to the teacher/student relationship. In the year 2.000 a training of social and behavior abilities was developed totalizing 24 hours with three public school teachers in Curitiba, who taught to three classes of the fourth grade of the elementary school (n 64), objectifying the reduction of unsocial behavior the increase of the students pro social behavior. The students were filmed twice in their classrooms, before and after test, and the audio of their teachers was recorded during these two occasions. The hypotheses that the teachers would amplify a positive reinforcement technique with their pupils wasn’t confirmed. However a significant change in the teachers' behavior concerning the threatening and punishment toutards their studants was observed, giving support to the hypotheses that the related training would reduce the students'unsocial behavior. There was no reduction in the students'unsocial behavior after the tests (t=0,64; p=0,522), but there was a statistically significant increase in students pro social behavior (t=3,25; p=0,002) after the teachers'training.
