A segurança de mulheres brasileiras nas viagens solo

Abstract

Resumo: Apesar do patriarcado e das incompatibilidade da representação patriarcal da mulher com seu deslocamento livre, considera-se a viagem solo feminina como uma oportunidade de quebra de paradigmas e empoderamento em relação à participação da mulher na sociedade. Entretanto, questões relacionadas à segurança dessas mulheres durante as viagens, podem ser impeditivas nesse processo. Nesse contexto, o presente trabalho tem como problema de pesquisa identificar o papel da segurança no segmento de viagens solo femininas, a partir do objetivo geral de propor a criação de um aplicativo para mulheres que viajam solo pela região sul do Brasil. Para tanto, empregou-se como metodologia as técnicas de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, bem como a aplicação de questionário como instrumento de coleta de dados. Os resultados alcançados encontraram 11 aplicativos de viagem, com diferentes propostas, mas nenhum com foco na região sul do país e voltado para segurança. O questionário indicou que grande parte das mulheres da pesquisa têm entre 18 e 25 anos, são solteiras, vivem no Paraná e não possuem filhos. Também foi relatado que são impedidas de viajar, principalmente por questões relacionadas à sua segurança, porém são motivadas pela liberdade e independência. Ao final, conclui-se que o deslocamento da mulher é dificultado em múltiplas escalas, incluindo a dos deslocamentos turísticos. Para isso foi desenvolvido um projeto que trata de um aplicativo para dispositivos móveis que visa aumentar a segurança dessas viajantes solo, por meio de um mapa com notas dos estabelecimentos e pontos turísticos dos lugares das cidades do sul do Brasil, permitindo que as usuárias troquem informações sobre viagem solo feminina, de forma a minimizar as inseguranças e disponibilizar maior quantidade dessas informações.

Abstract: Despite the patriarchy and the issues related to the incompatibility of women's patriarchal representation with their free movement, the female solo journey is considered an opportunity to break paradigms and empowerment in relation to women's participation in society. However, issues related to the safety of these women during travels can be an impediment in this process. In this context, the present work has as a research problem to identify the role of security in the female solo travel segment, from the general objective of proportion to the creation of an application for women who travel solo in the southern region of Brazil. Therefore, it was used as a methodology such as bibliographic and documentary research techniques, as well as the application of a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The results achieved 11 travel apps, with different proposals, but none focusing on the southern region of the country and facing security. The questionnaire indicated that most of the women in the survey are between 18 and 25 years old, are single, live in Paraná state and do not have children. It was also reported that they are prevented from traveling, mainly for reasons related to their safety, but they are motivated by their freedom and independence. In the end, it is concluded that the displacement of women is made difficult on multiple scales, including tourist displacement. For this, a project was developed that deals with an application for mobile devices that aims to increase the safety of these solo travelers, through a map with notes of imperatives and touristic points of places in cities in southern Brazil, allowing users to exchange information on female solo travel, in order to minimize insecurities and make more of this information available
