Prevenção e promoção à saúde para doenças gastrointestinais na Atenção Primária à Saúde : a experiência no município de Pitanga/PR

Abstract

Resumo: O plano de intervenção que trata da Prevenção e Promoção à Saúde para doenças Gastrointestinais na Atenção Primária à Saúde: A experiência do Município de Pitanga/PR, é resultado do Curso de Especialização em Atenção Básica, financiado pelo UNA-SUS. Com objetivo de diminuir a incidência dos casos dessa patologia e orientar a prevenção de cuidados básicos e simples. Objetivos: prevenção das diarreias agudas; orientação da população sobre os cuidados de educação de saúde, orientação sobre o tratamento inicial das diarreias agudas. A pesquisa consistiu na elaboração de um plano de ação, seguido pela educação em saúde na Unidade, sala de espera e em visitas domiciliares. Foram aplicados com sucesso o folheto que foi entregue a população, orientações individuais para melhorar os hábitos de higiene. Ao fim o projeto a intervenção foi bem aceita, caracterizando uma boa estratégia, pois além de ter prevenido doenças gastrointestinais, ajudou nos cuidados de prevenção ao Covid-19.

Abstract: The intervention plan that deals with Prevention and Health Promotion for Gastrointestinal diseases in Primary Health Care: The experience of the Municipality of Pitanga / PR, is the result of the Specialization Course in Primary Care, funded by UNA-SUS. In order to reduce the incidence of cases of this pathology and guide the prevention of basic and simple care. Objectives: prevention of acute diarrhea; population orientation on health education care, guidance on the initial treatment of acute diarrhea. The research consisted of the elaboration of an action plan, followed by health education in the Unit, waiting room and home visits. The leaflet that was delivered to the population and individual guidelines to improve hygiene habits were successfully applied. At the end of the project, the intervention was well accepted, featuring a good strategy, because in addition to preventing gastrointestinal diseases, it helped in the prevention care for Covid-19.
