Maio de 1968 na França : políticas universitárias e movimento estudantil

Abstract

Resumo : O presente trabalho busca traçar um panorama histórico e sociológico sobre como se dava a organização do sistema de ensino superior francês e das propostas de sua reestruturação desde seus primórdios através de uma reflexão embasada na bibliografia existente sobre o tema. O foco principal se dá especificamente às intervenções do Estado na universidade francesa no período conhecido como Maio de 1968 e sua relação com a comunidade estudantil. Também é problematizada a questão de como se tornou possível tal evento influenciar a sociedade como um todo a ponto de tal problema atravessar os mais diversos campos da sociedade francesa (campo universitário, campo político, campo econômico etc.). Por fim, o trabalho busca também pensar as alterações propostas nas políticas universitárias e fazer um balanço sobre esse acontecimento político e social na segunda metade do século XX.

Abstract : Based on a historical and sociological perspective, this article examines the organization of the French higher education system and the proposals for its restructuring since its modern origins. Our main concerns are understanding the state intervention at the French University during the May 1968 and the role of the student movement in France, based on a bibliographical review. We propose an analysis how that event influenced the whole society, in a way it crossed many diverse fields - for example, the university field, the political field, the intellectual field, the economical field etc. By analyzing the meanings of such a flow, we attempt to elucidate the project of university reform, making an evaluation about the impact of that political and social event in the second half of the twentieth century.
