A Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus perante as religiões de matriz africana : intolerância em obra doutrinária

Abstract

Resumo : É evidente na sociedade brasileira a presença do preconceito sob as mais variadas formas. Essa manifestação negativa está presente na vida de mulheres, idosos, jovens, negros, índios, pobres, em especial aqueles que sobrevivem com dificuldades e são socialmente marginalizados. Estudar acerca do tema é de suma importância. Neste texto, busca-se abordar algumas dessas manifestações direcionadas às religiões de matrizes africanas pela doutrina da Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus (IURD). Esta, dissemina e reforça a discriminação e o preconceito em relação a religiões de matriz africana, que acabam por refletir no ambiente escolar. Aborda-se aqui os conceitos de intolerância e discriminação religiosa, entre outros, e a fundamentação legal que as condenam; bem como o histórico da IURD, com uma análise de uma de suas principais obras doutrinárias, "Orixás, Caboclos e Guias: deuses ou demônios", na qual é evidenciada a intolerância religiosa pregada contra religiões que lidam com o intercâmbio espiritual, em especial aquelas religiões de matriz africana.

Abstract : It is evident in Brazilian society the presence of prejudice in the most varied forms. This negative manifestation is present in the lives of women, the elderly, young people, blacks, Indians, the poor, especially those who survive with difficulties and are socially marginalized. Studying about the subject is of paramount importance. In this text, we try to address some of these manifestations directed to the religions of African matrices by the doctrine of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (IURD). It disseminates and reinforces discrimination and prejudice against religions of African origin, which reflect in the school environment. It addresses here the concepts of intolerance and religious discrimination, among others, and the legal basis condemning them; As well as the history of the IURD, with an analysis of one of its main doctrinal works, "Orixás, Caboclos and Guias: gods or demons", in which the religious intolerance preached against religions dealing with spiritual interchange is evidenced, especially those Religions.
