Resumo : O trabalho que aqui se apresenta refere-se a um breve histórico das brincadeiras de meninas negras, enfatizando a cultura oral que os idosos repassam e repassaram para seus descendentes no contexto da cidade de Curitiba nas décadas de 30 e 50. Para tanto, narra-se também a situação da mulher negra no Brasil tanto quanto às questões de trabalho, questões de formação, como quanto a sua vida na terceira idade, entendendo que a menina que brinca é também a menina que ensinará outras crianças a brincar. Esta narrativa também se fez através das entrevistas desenvolvidas para esta pesquisa. Este trabalho traçou-se desta forma por conta da característica do povo africano que destina respeito e valorização dos conhecimentos dos seus idosos de forma destacada na sua cultura. Abstract : The research presented here refers to a brief history of black girls' play, emphasizing the oral culture that the elderly pass on and passed on to their descendants in the context of the city of Curitiba in the 1930s and 1950s. The situation of the black woman in Brazil as well as the issues of work, questions of formation, as well as her life in the third age, understanding that the girl who plays is also the girl who will teach other children to play. This narrative was also made through interviews developed for this research. This work was traced in this way because of the characteristic of the African people who destine respect and appreciation of the knowledge of their elders in a prominent way in their culture.
