Abstract: This master's research as a theoretical study guided by Freudian psychoanalysis, aims to focus on the uniqueness of the theory and the psychoanalytic method and its link (im) possible with education. In Chapter 1, we introduce considerations about the route that guided this researcher in this dissertation. Chapters 2 and 3 are a result of a trace of Freud's work, culminating in two positions this author: A first hostility towards the education of their time, with the prevalence of severe criticism of the way of understanding the education of human sexuality and second positioning reconciliation that although the suppression is recognized as harmful, it proved necessary for social survival. Then, in Chapter 4, with author Catherine Millot (1987) and other psychoanalysts dealing with the link between psychoanalysis and education, we reflect on the contributions that would have psychoanalysis to education, since the treaty was impossible Freudian on education analytical and a complete obedience education. Finally, (in) it was concluded that the Freudian psychoanalytic assumptions can transmit to education the possibility of a change in pedagogical practices from the recognition of castration and uniqueness for it before the teacher acted by teaching determinations, now ensnared by desire, reflects on the construction of an act, speaking for himself. Keywords: Psychoanalysis. Education. Instinct. Unconscious. Desire. Transfer.
