Volunturismo em propriedades de agricultura orgânica : um estudo na região metropolitana de Curitiba, PR

Abstract

Resumo : O referido estudo teve como objetivo analisar o desenvolvimento do volunturismo em propriedades rurais de agricultura orgânica na região de Curitiba – PR. Para analisar esse desenvolvimento, foram estudados conceitos da ética, turismo rural e do voluntariado. Por meio dessa análise, foi possível identificar perfil do volunturista rural praticante, através da pesquisa quantitativa, realizada via questionário aplicado nas redes sociais. Foi visto também, como os proprietários rurais recebem seus voluntários e como funciona a referida atividade, com suas devidas particularidades e deficiências, através de uma entrevista realizada com dois proprietários rurais, escolhidos por conveniência. Através da pesquisa bibliográfica e da coleta e a análise de dados, foi possível concluir que o praticante de volunturismo rural é do sexo masculino e que seu motivador principal é a aprendizagem de novos tipos de cultivo. Foi verificado também a deficiência em divulgar as propriedades que recebem volunturistas e a falta de integração entre proprietário e turista, o que dificulta na seleção do local para se praticar o volunturismo. A partir dessas conclusões, foi proposto um aplicativo, que facilitaria na busca por propriedades rurais e que auxiliaria o turista na escolha pela melhor opção para praticar o voluntariado rural, de acordo com suas preferências pessoais.

Abstract: The study aimed to analyze the development of voluntourism in rural properties of organic agriculture in the region of Curitiba - PR. To analyze this development, concepts of ethics, rural tourism and volunteering were studied. Through this analysis, it was possible to identify the profile of rural Voluntourists practitioner, through quantitative survey, conducted by questionnaire on social networks. It was also seen as landowners receive their volunteers and how that activity works, with their proper characteristics and deficiencies, through na interview with two landowners, chosen by convenience. Through bibliographic research and collection and analysis of data, it was concluded that the rural voluntourism practitioner is male and that his main motivator is learning new types of cultivation. It was also verified disability to disclose the properties receiving Voluntourists and the lack of integration between owner of the rural properties and tourist, which makes harder the location selection to practice voluntourism. From these findings, it was proposed an application, which would facilitate the search for farms and which would assist tourists to choose the best option to practice rural volunteering, according to their personal preferences.
