A incidência do racismo no imaginário infantil

Resumo : O país em que vivemos é rico em diversidades e etnias, resultado de heranças dos indígenas, portugueses, africanos, entre outras, desde seu período de colonização, até os dias atuais, e, é comum ser destino de muitas pessoas em busca de qualidade de vida, atraídos pelas riquezas naturais e hospitalidade dos brasileiros. Diante dessa diversidade infelizmente ainda é presente o preconceito em relação à cor e status social das pessoas. O presente trabalho pretende abordar quando começa este preconceito, se é de responsabilidade dos pais ou durante a sua vida escolar, social. Objetiva-se verificar e problematizar a existência ou não de uma relação cultural entre cor, pobreza, posição social subalterna e gênero, em relação as profissões executadas por mulheres e homens, no imaginário de alunos dos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental, crianças na faixa etária entre seis a doze anos, de estereótipos racistas, por meio de questionários com imagens, adequados a compreensão da faixa etária analisada. Após a análise dos dados obtidos, tabelas e gráficos ilustram e comprovam a incidência da associação entre cor, pobreza e subalternidade nas profissões pelos alunos, desde o início da vida escolar. O ambiente escolar é um dos primeiros contatos que a criança tem com essas diversidades, fornecendo uma nova vivência social, além da já conhecida pela criança no contexto familiar. Sendo assim, a escola tem um papel fundamental tanto na formação acadêmica como na social, formando cidadãos críticos e sensíveis as desigualdades do mundo. Tamanha a importância pode ser reconhecida através das mudanças na LDB, que incluiu na grade curricular a história dos negros, mostrando assim não a submissão em relação aos brancos, mas a sua importância para a história do desenvolvimento tanto do Brasil, como da humanidade. Abstract : The country that we live in is rich in diversity because of the inheritance that Indians, Portuguese and African, provided to us since the colonization period until today, and it is common to be the destination of many people in search for quality of life because of natural resources, and the hospitality of the Brazilians. Besides this diversity, unfortunately it is still present the prejudice against the color and the race of people. This paper aims to address when begins this prejudice, wondering if the responsibility is from the parents or from their school and social life. The objective is to verify and to problematize the existence or not of a cultural association between color, poverty, and subaltern social position, in regards of work performed for women and men, in the imagination of elementary school students, children between six and twelve years old, with racist stereotypes, aiming to develop a practical approach in the teaching activities, based in the confirmation or not from the analysis made by means of quizzes and illustrations suitable in the comprehension of the age range analyzed. After the analyze of the data obtained tables and graphics can show and prove the incidence of the association between color, poverty and subordination in the professions for the students, since the beginning of the school life. The school environment is one of the first contacts the child has with these diversities in which is provide a new social experience, besides the experience where the child already have in the family context. Therefore, the school has a fundamental role both in the academic and in the social formation, building critical and sensitive citizens as regards of inequalities in the world. Such importance can be recognized through the changes in the LBD, which has included in the curriculum the history of black people showing not submission in relation to white people, yet their importance to the history of the development of both Brazil and humanity.
