Os jogos africanos e afro-brasileiros na disciplina de Educação Física

Abstract

Resumo : Haja vista que nas aulas de Educação Física em escolas públicas o interesse maior dos educandos durante essas aulas são as atividades que envolvem o jogo com bola e diversão. Contudo, há de se pensar em outras atividades que envolvem não apenas atividades motoras, mas também conceitos e informações sobre suas origens e etnias. Com a implementação da Lei 10.639/2003, que altera a Lei 9394/1996, torna obrigatório o ensino de História e Cultura Afro–Brasileira e Africana na educação básica. No entanto, percebeu-se uma lacuna quanto ao cumprimento desta lei dentro das instituições educacionais, particularmente no componente curricular Educação Física. Assim, o problema investigado neste estudo foi os jogos africanos em sua prática de Educação Física, objetivando analisar se os mesmos contribuem na formação da identidade negra, de educandos negros e não negros e no respeito à diversidade étnico-cultural, bem como verificar se a Lei 10.639/03 está sendo implantada dentro da disciplina de Educação Física. Para este trabalho usou-se de pesquisa bibliográfica descritiva e qualitativa sobre a temática. Entendeu-se, por meio desta pesquisa, que o uso dos jogos nas práticas educativas assume grande relevância quando a proposta pedagógica considera a necessidade de primar pelo desenvolvimento integral e pela pertinência no ensino. Essa perspectiva pode assegurar que se utilize em sala de aula o conhecimento que está além dos limites da escola e que é levado espontaneamente pelo aluno à vida afora.

Abstract : Given that in physical education classes in public schools the best interest of the students in these classes are the activities that involve the game with ball and fun. However, one has to think of other activities that involve not only motor skills, but also concepts and information about their origins and ethnicities. With the implementation of Law 10.639 / 2003, which amends Law 9394/1996, mandating the teaching of History and Afro-Brazilian Culture and African in basic education. However, it was noticed a gap regarding compliance with this law within the educational institutions, especially in curriculum component Physical Education. Thus, the problem investigated in this study was African games in their practice of Physical Education, aiming to analyze if they contribute to the formation of black identity, black students and not black, and respect for ethnic and cultural diversity as well as verify that the Law 10.639 / 03 is being implemented within the discipline of Physical Education. For this study used a descriptive and qualitative literature on the subject. It was considered, through this research, the use of games in the educational practices of great importance when the pedagogical proposal considers the need to prioritize the integral development and relevance in education. This perspective can ensure that you use in class knowledge that is beyond the school's boundaries and that is taken spontaneously by the student throughout life.
