A compreensão de educação ambiental e desenvolvimento territorial sustentável de professores de língua portuguesa da rede estadual de ensino do município de Guaratuba – Litoral do Paraná

Abstract

Resumo: O presente trabalho de pesquisa científica investigou como a Educação Ambiental (EA) e o Desenvolvimento Territorial Sustentável (DTS) são compreendidos pelos professores de Língua Portuguesa da rede estadual de ensino do município de Guaratuba, litoral do Paraná. Esta temática, por sua natureza, deve perpassar todas as áreas do conhecimento e ser abordada em todos os níveis e modalidades da educação nacional, conforme preconizam a Constituição Federal e a Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC). A abordagem do objeto de estudo foi realizada por meio de uma análise qualitativa. Para tanto, foram conduzidas entrevistas com os docentes, a fim de investigar sua compreensão sobre conceitos ambientais fundamentais para quem atua em sala de aula. A categorização das respostas, a partir de unidades de análise, permitiu averiguar a percepção dos professores sobre o DTS e a EA, atingindo assim o objetivo geral do estudo. Além disso, foi possível identificar a compreensão do grupo de professores participantes da pesquisa acerca de termos como sustentabilidade, território e o próprio Desenvolvimento Territorial Sustentável. O resultado desta pesquisa consiste em um banco de dados que poderá ser utilizado por outros pesquisadores interessados em dar continuidade a estudos sobre a relação entre o ser humano, a natureza e a Educação Ambiental

Abstract: This scientific research study investigated how Environmental Education (EE) and Sustainable Territorial Development (STD) are understood by Portuguese language teachers in the state education system of the municipality of Guaratuba, on the coast of Paraná. This theme, by its nature, should permeate all areas of knowledge and be addressed at all levels and modalities of national education, as recommended by the Federal Constitution and the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). The approach to the object of study was carried out through a qualitative analysis. To this end, interviews were conducted with the teachers in order to investigate their understanding of fundamental environmental concepts for those who work in the classroom. The categorization of the responses, based on units of analysis, allowed us to ascertain the teachers' perception of STD and EE, thus achieving the general objective of the study. In addition, it was possible to identify the understanding of the group of teachers participating in the research regarding terms such as sustainability, territory and Sustainable Territorial Development itself. The result of this research consists of a database that can be used by other researchers interested in continuing studies on the relationship between human beings, nature and Environmental Education
