Resumo: O presente estudo investiga as múltiplas dimensões narrativas em torno de Febrônio Índio do Brasil, emblemática figura da história criminal brasileira, cujos crimes, misticismo e produção literária tornaram-no objeto de debates em variadas áreas de conhecimento, a partir de uma análise do modo como essas narrativas contribuem para a sua construção mítica e midiática e depois se desenvolvem para seu apagamento social. A abordagem interdisciplinar combina análise documental, revisão bibliográfica e práticas criativas, propondo o conceito de "outro-real" para explorar as interseções entre o factual, o ficcional e o mítico. As leituras são feitas a partir de diferentes visões oriundas da imprensa, das artes, da psicanálise e do direito, sempre observando seus desempenhos na dramatização narrativa que contribuiu para consolidar a imagem controversa e enigmática de Febrônio no imaginário popular. Com base nos materiais coletados e em articulação com teorias de construção do fantástico em plataformas diversas, são aqui problematizados a espetacularização da violência e os limites éticos da narrativa. A esta problematização soma-se a observação analítica de produções criativas próprias do autor, incluindo peça teatral, graphic novel e motion comic. A junção de todos estes elementos permite evidenciar como a arte pode ressignificar narrativas controversas, como as aqui identificadas em torno de Febrônio. Estas matrizes de discussão, portanto, possibilitam-nos tensionar os limites narrativos entre história, ficção e mito, usando forças equivalentes do rigor analítico e da sensibilidade artísticaAbstract: This study investigates the multiple narrative dimensions around Febrônio Índio do Brasil, an emblematic figure in Brazilian criminal history, whose crimes, mysticism and literary production have made him the object of debates in various areas of knowledge. Departing from an analysis of how these narratives contribute to his mythical and media construction ending up in his social exclusion, the interdisciplinary approach adopted here combines documentary analysis, bibliographic review and creative practices, proposing the concept of "other-real" to explore the intersections among the factual, fictional and mythical aspects of his figure. Different visions from the press and the arts, as well as from psychoanalysis and the law are gathered here, always observing their role in the narrative dramatization that contributed to consolidate Febrônio's controversial and enigmatic figure in the popular imagination. Based on the materials collected and in articulation with the defining elements in the construction of the fantastic genre on various platforms, the spectacularization of violence and the ethical limits of the narrative are problematized here. The analytical observation of the author's own creative productions, including play, graphic novel and motion comic, is added to this problematization. The junction of all these elements shows how art can resignify controversial narratives, such as those identified here around Febrônio. These discussion matrices, therefore, allow us to strain the narrative boundaries between history, fiction and myth, using equivalent forces of analytical rigor and artistic sensitivity
