Efeito de concentrado proteico (PEPTIPRO®) em dietas com substituição total e parcial do plasma, sobre o desempenho zootécnico e sanitário de leitões em fase de creche

Abstract

Resumo: A fase do desmame é uma das mais críticas na vida dos leitões, pois além da perda do contato materno, existe a mudança de ambiente, as disputas hierárquicas e a adaptação ao alimento sólido. Para minimizar as perdas nesta fase, as rações das fases pós-desmame são altamente palatáveis e digestíveis, com inclusão de ingredientes especiais, com destaque ao plasma, pelas suas características nutricionais e funcionais. No entanto, por questões econômicas, a suinocultura tem buscado alternativas ao plasma, sendo que os hidrolisados proteicos de origem animal são os mais estudados. Portanto, o objetivo desta pesquisa foi avaliar o efeito da substituição total ou parcial do plasma pelo concentrado proteico PEPTIPRO® nas dietas Pré-inicial I e II de leitões em fase de creche sobre os parâmetros zootécnicos e sanitários. O trabalho contou com cento e vinte leitões machos inteiros, recémdesmamados foram distribuídos em 3 tratamentos, com 10 repetições cada: T1 – Pré I – 6% Plasma; Pré II – 3% Plasma, - T2 – Pré I – 3% Plasma + 3% Peptipro®; Pré II – 1,5% Plasma + 1,5% de Peptipro®; T3 – Pré I – 3% Peptipro®; Pré II – 1,5% Peptipro®. Os animais foram pesados semanalmente e submetidos à avaliação de escore fecal e à exame de permeabilidade intestinal. O experimento teve duração de 39 dias. Não foi observado diferença entre os tratamentos nos parâmetros zootécnicos e sanitários avaliados, demonstrando que o concentrado proteico PEPTIPRO® pode substituir totalmente o plasma e, mesmo com inclusão da metade do plasma (T3 vs T1), garantiu o mesmo desempenho dos leitões. Conclui-se, considerando a não evidenciação de diferença nos resultados zootécnicos e sanitários, que o concentrado proteico PEPTIPRO® pode ser usado em substituição total ou parcial do plasma.

Abstract: The weaning phase is one of the most critical in the life of piglets, as in addition to the loss of maternal contact, there is a change in environment, hierarchical disputes and adaptation to solid food. To minimize losses at this stage, post-weaning phase rations are highly palatable and digestible, with the inclusion of special ingredients, with emphasis on plasma, for its nutritional and functional characteristics. However, for economic reasons, swine farming has been evaluating alternatives to plasma, with protein hydrolysates of animal origin being the most studied. Therefore, the objective of this research was to evaluate the effect of total or partial replacement of plasma with PEPTIPRO® protein concentrate in the Pre-Starter I and II diets of piglets in the nursery phase on zootechnical and sanitary parameters. The work involved one hundred and twenty whole male piglets, recently weaned were distributed into 3 treatments, with 10 replications each: T1 – Pre I – 6% Plasma; Pre II – 3% Plasma, - T2 – Pre I – 3% Plasma + 3% Peptipro®; Pre II – 1.5% Plasma + 1.5% Peptipro®; T3 – Pre I – 3% Peptipro®; Pre II – 1.5% Peptipro®. The animals were weighed weekly and subjected to fecal score assessment and intestinal permeability examination. The experiment lasted 39 days. No difference was observed between the treatments in the zootechnical and sanitary parameters evaluated, demonstrating that the PEPTIPRO® protein concentrate can completely replace plasma and, even with the inclusion of half of the plasma (T3 vs T1), it allowed the same performance of the piglets. It is concluded, considering the lack of evidence of difference in zootechnical and sanitary results, that the PEPTIPRO® protein concentrate can be used in total or partial replacement of plasma.
