A reproduçao social da agricultura familiar na Regiao Metropolitana de Curitiba em suas múltiplas interrelaçoes

Abstract

Resumo: A presente tese se insere no processo de investigação sobre o rural da Região Metropolitana de Curitiba (RMC) que vem sendo desenvolvido desde 1996, no contexto do programa de doutorado em Meio Ambiente e Desenvolvimento da Universidade Federal do Paraná. O objetivo geral é compreender as estratégias que possibilitam a reprodução social dos agricultores familiares, que é dinâmica e está circunscrita em um ambiente físico e social do meio rural que se transforma constantemente. A opção teórica de pensar a agricultura familiar na perspectiva da reprodução social (MARX, BOURDIEU, RAYNAUT et ali) permitiu compreender que o senso prático dos agricultores conduz à determinadas estratégias que asseguram a reprodução de suas famílias e de seus estabelecimentos rurais. Tais estratégias de reprodução foram compreendidas na inter-relação dinâmica entre suas multidimensões, ou seja, em seus aspectos sociais, culturais, econômicos, demográficos e ambientais. Assim analisada, a permanência dos agricultores familiares no espaço físico e social que lhes é próprio está vinculada a sua trajetória histórica que é permeada de adaptações e de mudanças.

Abstract: This thesis inserts itself at the process of investigation about rural area of Metropolitan Region of Curitiba (MRC) that has been developed since 1986, in the context of the doctoral programme in Environmental and Development of Federal University of Paraná. The general objective is to understand the strategies that enable the farmer families's social reproduction, that is dynamic and it's precinct in one rural physical and social environment that constantly changes. The theoretical option of thinking the family agriculture in the social reproduction perspective (Marx, Bourdieu, Raynaut etc) allowed to understand the farmers' practical sense leads to purpose strategies that assure the reproduction of their families and rural establishments. Such strategies of reproduction were understood in the dynamic interrelation among its multidimensions, or in their social, cultural, economic, demographic and environment aspects. Like this analyzed, the remain of the farmer families in their own physical and social space it's linked in their historical way that is permeated of adaptations and changes.
