Antropologia e filosofia da história no pensamento sociolinguístico de Rousseau

Abstract

Resumo: A presente dissertação tem por objetivo realizar uma análise sobre os conceitos de antropologia e de filosofia da história presentes na obra de Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Para tanto, nossa investigação se debruça principalmente sobre duas importantes obras, o Ensaio sobre a origem das línguas e o Discurso sobre a desigualdade, e se volta essencialmente ao problema da origem, das línguas e das sociedades, e aos diferentes desenvolvimentos históricos que se seguem a partir desse ponto inicial da história proposto pelo autor. Por meio desta análise, pretendemos compreender a importância que as noções de antropologia e filosofia da história exercem dentro do pensamento de Rousseau e como esses dois conceitos podem nos fornecer uma interessante chave de leitura que nos ajuda a obter um melhor entendimento sobre as diversas nuances que se apresentam nos escritos do filósofo genebrino.

Abstract: The aim of this dissertation is to analyze the concepts of anthropology and philosophy of history in the work of Jean-Jacques Rousseau. To this end, our investigation focuses mainly on two important works, the Essay on the Origin of Languages and the Discourse on Inequality, and concentrates essentially to the problem of the origin of languages and societies, and the different historical developments that follow from this initial starting point in history proposed by the author. Through this analysis, we intend to understand the importance that the notions of anthropology and philosophy of history play within Rousseau's thought and how these two concepts can provide us with an interesting reading key that helps us gain a better understanding of the various nuances that appear in the writings of the Geneva philosopher.
