Graffiti : uma cultura à margem

Abstract

Resumo : O ponto de partida desta pesquisa é a movimentação do grafite e pixo dentro da cidade de Curitiba, buscando identificar as principais influências do estilo local e como os artistas desse movimento urbano constroem a narrativa de seus trabalhos. O estudo também indica a origem do movimento grafite, assim como suas principais características e estilos, com o intuito de identificar quais fatores contribuem para as interpretações de impacto social dessa manifestação artística, assim como as expressões relacionadas à prática e origem da pixação, ação essa que se estabelece de forma muito semelhante à atividade exercida pelo que se compreende como grafite, o estudo não pretende criar distinções entre as duas modalidades e sim compreender a diferença entre os objetivos de cada ação

Abstract : The starting point of this research is the movement of graffiti and pixo within the city of Curitiba, seeking to identify the main influences of the local style and how the artists of this urban movement build the narrative of their works. The study also indicates the origin of the graffiti movement, as well as its main characteristics and styles, in order to identify which factors contribute to the interpretations of the social impact of this artistic manifestation, as well as the expressions related to the practice and origin of pixação, an action that which is established in a very similar way to the activity carried out by what is understood as graffiti, the study does not intend to create distinctions between the two modalities, but to understand the difference between the objectives of each action
