Reciclagem industrial : museu de arte contemporanea em Curitiba

Abstract

Resumo: O presente trabalho consiste na pesquisa científico-tecnológica exploratória com o objetivo de construir um conjunto de referenciais técnicos, utilitários e estéticos para a elaboração de diretrizes projetuais do projeto de um museu de arte contemporânea para Curitiba, a ser elaborado na etapa posterior. Por se tratar de um trabalho de intervenção sobre patrimônio edificado (originalmente fábrica da Cervejaria Atlântica, atual fábrica da Ambev) no bairro Rebouças, primeiramente é feita uma breve descrição de termos e histórico sobre Patrimônio Cultural, Arquitetônico e Industrial. A seguir são definidos termos referentes a museus e museologia, acompanhados de um breve histórico da tipologia. Em seguida são estudados casos correlatos como parâmetros e referenciais temáticos para, por fim, caracterizar a realidade de Curitiba e definir as diretrizes projetuais em termos funcionais, estéticos e técnicos.

Abstract: This monograph consists in the theoretical research intended to create a technical, functional and aesthetic basis for the formulation of the project directives for a Contemporary Art Museum for the city of Curitiba. Due to the object of interest consisting of an industrial heritage site (originally the Cervejaria Atlântica brewery and currently the Ambev factory) in the Rebouças neighborhood, the first part of the research defines and provides a short history of the Cultural, Architectonic and Industrial Heritage debates. After the reflections on heritage, the terms and concepts of museums are expanded upon, along with a brief timeline of the building type. Then, the next part consists of the description of other case studies to provide a frame of reference so that, at last, the context of Curitiba is expanded upon and the project framework is created for the adaptive reuse project.
