Crescimento de Allophylus edulis em floresta aluvial, sob influência de diferentes níveis freáticos

Abstract

Resumo : Este trabalho teve como objetivo a análise do crescimento de indivíduos de Allophylus edulis (A. St.-Hil., Cambess. & A. Juss.) Radlk submetidos a diferentes níveis de lençol freático em um remanescente de Floresta Ombrófila Mista Aluvial situada em Araucária-PR. Por meio da técnica de verrumagem foram amostrados 25 indivíduos adultos, com Diâmetro a Altura do Peito (DAP) variando de 5 a 20 cm, no sentido casca-medula. Também foram considerados os dados obtidos por meio de levantamento fitossociológico durante os anos de 2001 a 2019, realizado na mesma área, utilizando 21 parcelas permanentes já instaladas em estudos anteriores, divididas em duas principais áreas: em posição mais elevada, próximas da borda do dique artificial do rio Barigui; e em posição mais baixa, próximas da bacia de inundação. Estas parcelas possuem 100 m² (10x10 m), onde foram mensuradas com fita métrica todas as árvores com mais de 15 cm de perímetro a altura do peito, sendo 15 indivíduos localizados nas parcelas permanentes, 5 indivíduos em um dique marginal do rio Barigui e 5 situados fora das parcelas permanentes. Considerou-se também as leituras de cintas dendrométricas permanentes, que foram aferidas mensalmente entre os anos de 2015 a 2022. Por meio de análise e comparação dos dados, constatou-se que o incremento médio anual é extremamente lento em Allophylus edulis, e há ocorrência de falsos anéis de crescimento, provavelmente devido seu local de ocorrência, floresta aluvial com frequentes períodos de inundação. Não houve diferença estatística no incremento diamétrico periódico da espécie entre os diferentes níveis freáticos amostrados.

Abstract : The objective of this work was to analyze the growth of individuals of Allophylus edulis (A. St.-Hil., Cambess. & A. Juss.) Radlk submitted to different levels of water table in a remnant of Ombrophylous Floodplain Forest located in AraucáriaPR. Using the verruming technique, 25 adult individuals were sampled, with Diameter at Breast Height (DBH) ranging from 5 to 20 cm, in the bark-to-pipe direction. Were used data obtained through a phytosociological survey during the years 2001 to 2019, carried out in the same area, using 21 permanent plots already installed in previous studies, divided into two main areas: in a higher position, close to the edge of the dike artificial river Barigui; and in a lower position, close to the flood basin. In these plots, each one with 100m2 (10x10m), all the trees with a perimeter of more than 15 cm at breast height were measured with a tape measure, with 15 individuals located in the permanent plots, 5 individuals in a marginal dike of the Barigui River and 5 located outside of permanent plots. It was also considered the readings of permanent dendrometric belts, which were measured monthly between the years 2015 to 2022. Through analysis and comparison of data, it was found that the average annual increase is extremely slow in Allophylus edulis, and there is of false growth rings, probably due to its place of occurrence, alluvial forest with frequent periods of flooding. Through a statistical test, it was verified that there was no statistical difference in the periodic diametric increment of the species between the different water table levels sampled.
