Futebol, arbitragem e corrupção : relatos de experiência de árbitros do município de Matinhos/PR

Abstract

Resumo : O presente trabalho trata sobre a questão da corrupção, suborno e manipulação de resultados na arbitragem do futebol. Geralmente o árbitro é tido como corrupto e desonesto, porém entendemos que para tornar-se árbitro de futebol na atualidade são exigidas uma série de competências, como: postura profissional, ética, excelente preparo físico entre outros. Em termos de problema, destacamos a seguinte questão: como a questão da corrupção e manipulação de resultados das partidas na arbitragem de futebol é abordada em estudos acadêmicos sobre o tema e nos relatos dos árbitros de Matinhos/PR? Em relação à justificativa para realização deste trabalho, compreendemos a mesma a partir de três níveis de envolvimento: pessoal, acadêmico e social. Pessoalmente, me interessei pelo tema porque sou árbitro pertencente a Federação Paranaense de Futsal desde o ano de 2000. Em relação à justificativa acadêmica, verificamos a ausência de trabalhos específicos sobre o tema no município de Matinhos e no litoral paranaense de um modo geral. Sobre o nível de envolvimento social, justificamos o desenvolvimento desse trabalho considerando os aficionados pelo futebol, as pessoas que fazem mover todo o "mundo da bola", gastando dinheiro em compras de material esportivo de seu clube do coração, discutindo nas ruas e praças das cidades quem é melhor, indo aos estádios, sendo sócios do clube, etc. Em relação aos objetivos, numa perspectiva geral pretendemos verificar como a questão da corrupção e manipulação de resultados das partidas na arbitragem de futebol é abordada em estudos acadêmicos sobre o tema e nos relatos dos árbitros de Matinhos/PR. Em termos dos objetivos específicos esperamos: desenvolver um estudo específico sobre futebol, arbitragem e corrupção no município de Matinhos/PR; destacar a importância da função do árbitro de futebol no desenvolvimento de uma partida. No que se refere à metodologia de pesquisa, o desenvolvimento do trabalho ocorrerá por meio de revisão bibliográfica e relatos de experiências de árbitros, a partir de pesquisa de campo via entrevista semiestruturada. Entre os resultados destacamos o desconhecimento, por parte dos entrevistados, de casos que envolvam a corrupção e/ou suborno nas atividades de futebol no município de Matinhos/PR.

Abstract: This article focuses on the issue of corruption, bribery and match-fixing in football refereeing. Generally the referee is seen as corrupt and dishonest, but we understand that to become a football referee in actuality are required a range of skills such as: professional behavior, ethics, excellent physical fitness among others. In terms of problem, we highlight the following question: how the issue of corruption and manipulating results of matches in refereeing football is mentioned in academic studies on the subject and reports of referees from Matinhos/PR? Regarding the justification for this work, understand the same from three levels of involvement: personal, academic and social. Personally, I became interested in the topic because I am belonging to referee of Federation Paranaense of Futsal since the year 2000 Regarding academic justification, we note the absence of specific on the topic in the municipality of Matinhos and Paraná coast generally works. On the level of social involvement, justify the development of this work by considering the football fans, who do move the entire "world of football", spending money on purchases of sports equipment from your club the heart, discussing the streets and squares of cities who is better, going to the stadiums, being members of the club and etc. Regarding goals, an overview intend to see how the issue of corruption and manipulating results of matches in refereeing football is mentioned in academic studies on the subject and reports of referees from Matinhos/PR. In terms of specific goals hope: developing a specific study on football, refereeing and corruption in the municipality of Matinhos/PR; highlight the importance of the role of a referee in the development of a game. With regard to research methodology, development work will occur through literature review and experience reports of referees, from field research via semistructured interview. Among the results, highlight the absence on the part of respondents, cases involving corruption and / or bribery in football activities in the municipality of Matinhos/PR.
