Sobrecarga biopsicossocial de cuidadores informais

Abstract

Resumo : Objetivo: Investigar se existe sobrecarga socioeconômico, física ou mental em cuidadores informais de pacientes em cuidado domiciliar. Metodologia: Pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, utilizando a Revisão de escopo como artifício metodológico. Resultados: Houve prevalência 73,3% de cuidadores do sexo feminino, 51% eram filhos (a) dos pacientes e 36,5% conjugues. A revisão concluiu que os cuidadores possuem sobrecarga física, econômica, social e emocional. Diversos fatores levam a esta sobrecarga, entre eles a despersonalização do cuidador, a falta de conhecimento sobre ele, seus sentimentos, medos, dificuldades e incertezas, o atendimento médico centrado apenas no paciente e não no ambiente onde ele está inserido e a falta de conhecimento da necessidade dessa integração entre paciente, cuidador e sistema de saúde. Conclusão: Percebe-se a importância de efetivar a integralidade da saúde de indivíduos que são cuidadores, com ênfase em atividades de promoção e prevenção da saúde desta população

Abstract : Objective: To investigate whether there is socioeconomic, physical or mental burden on caregivers of patients in home care. Methodology: Research with a qualitative approach, using the scope review as a methodological device. Results: There was a prevalence of 73.3% of female caregivers, 51% were children of the patients and 36.5% spouses. The review concluded that caregivers have physical, economic, social and emotional overload. Several factors lead to this burden, among them the depersonalization of the caregiver, the lack of knowledge about him, his feelings, fears, difficulties and uncertainties, the medical care centered only on the patient and not on the environment where he is inserted and the lack of knowledge the need for this integration between patient, caregiver and health system. Conclusion: It is perceived the importance of carrying out the integral health of individuals who are caregivers, with an emphasis on health promotion and prevention activities for this population
