Abstract: This thesis seeks to verify the existence, map and understand the production logic of care spaces in/from the urban peripheries, based on social practices and actions in the women's daily lives. The motivation for this work came from the need to present the logic of space production on the peripheries of Curitiba, since we understood that there a centrality in the role that women have in these processes. The work was build daily through meetings and workshops held in the period 2020-2022 with three main groups: former leaders of the Occupation of Xapinhal (Sítio Cercado), members of the "Clube de Mães e Pais União Vila Torres" (Prado Velho) and members of the "Associação Cultural de Negritude e Ação Popular"- ACNAP (Sítio Cercado). Based on an actionparticipation- action methodology, we carry out works in together with the associations and we conducted individual interviews with the leaders selected, revisiting their trajectories and how they connect with the construction of their neighborhoods. We chose to divide the thesis as follows: in the first chapter we demonstrate that hegemonic geography hiden the existence and role of women in the production of space, impacting the way that analytical reading is build by society, we also present the "kitchen" of the thesis and the methodology adopted so detailed. In the second chapter we discuss the relationship between the ethics of care, the gender and urban policies which refers to the production of territories in/from the periphery, thus performing a critical spatial analysis on how space peripheralized is produced, formed and transformed by spatial dynamics and socio-territories established there. In the third chapter we bring a cartography about of the care territories produced by different women in the urban periphery, recording their political trajectories and their body/action in the daily life of their neighborhoods, using "wordsworld" to contextualize the reader. Finally, in the fourth chapter we analyzed the spatial dynamics that are established in the peripheries through the existence of territories of care, read as counter-spaces constructed as alternative to the territories of precarity imposed on the peripheralized population, being the care, a fundamental element in the policy of spatial transformation in the periphery Curitiba. Keywords: Space Production; Women; Periphery; Care Territories; Counterspaces.
