Educação musical : enfrentamentos na prática coral com crianças entre 8 e 10 anos, estudantes da rede pública de ensino - Prefeitura Municipal de Curitiba

Abstract

Resumo : Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a prática do coral com crianças entre 8 – 10 anos estudantes da Prefeitura Municipal de Curitiba. Para isso, elegeu-se, como método de pesquisa, a prática de canto coral de Kodály, aliada à metodologia de Villa-Lobos com metodologias que influenciaram de alguma forma o canto coral na educação. A proposta desta pesquisa foi oferecer possibilidades de inserção da prática coral na escola, formando um grupo com crianças em idade entre 08 e 10 anos, da rede municipal de ensino da Prefeitura Municipal de Curitiba e discutir os enfrentamentos políticos, pedagógicos, comunitários que envolvem um projeto deste porte e seus agentes impactantes: escola, professores, pais e alunos. Como considerações visualizadas ao longo da pesquisa realizada, foi possível identificar que nunca houve na região do bairro Tatuquara, nenhum projeto com o objetivo de educação musical, e desde o início das aulas do coral isso demonstrou ser uma barreira a ser enfrentada pelos professores integrantes do projeto. O coral era visto pelos alunos como uma brincadeira, pois inicialmente eles não entendiam o que de fato vinha a ser esta prática de conjunto, e do mesmo modo os demais professores do quadro docente também tiveram dificuldade em assimilar a relevância do projeto em questão, reforçando a questão da falta de capacitação dos professores para a música. A visão geral da funcionalidade do coral em detrimento do seu valor pedagógico foi deturpada durante o projeto, uma vez que o foco da comunidade escolar esteve voltado para possíveis apresentações de eventos, deixando de lado o potencial pedagógico inicialmente proposto. Apesar destes enfrentamentos é possível apontar potencialidade em utilizar o Projeto Coral de modo pedagógico e motivador. Abstract : This work aims to analyze the practice of choir with children aged 8 - 10 years old students in the Municipality of Curitiba. Because of this, it was elected as a research method, the practice of choral singing of Kodály, together with VillaLobos methodology with methodologies that influenced somehow the choir in education. The purpose of this research was to provide the choir practice opportunities in school, creating forming a group with children from 08 to 10 years old, from the municipal school system of the City of Curitiba and discuss the political confrontations, teaching, community involving one project of this size and its striking agents: school, teachers, parents and students. As considerations viewed along the survey, we found that there was never any project in the region of Tatuquara neighborhood with the goal of music education, and since the beginning of the coral classes that proved to be a barrier to be faced by members of the project teachers. The coral was seen by students as a joke, because initially they did not understand what actually happened to be this practice set, and the same faculty of other teachers so they also had difficulty in assimilating the relevance of the project in question, reinforcing the issue of lack of training of teachers for music. The overview of the coral functionality at the expense of their pedagogical value was distorted during the project, since the focus of the school community was facing possible presentations of events, leaving aside the pedagogical potential initially proposed. Despite these confrontations is possible to identify potential using the Coral Project of teaching and motivating way.
