Maestro Roberto Schnorrenberg (1929-1983) : análise histórico-musicológica de sua atuação como outsider na Sociedade Pró-Música de Curitiba no período de 1964 - 1982

Abstract

Resumo : Roberto Schnorrenberg (1929-1983) foi maestro, compositor e produtor cultural brasileiro que atuou na cena musical curitibana entre os anos de 1964 e 1982. Apesar de participar expressivamente do contexto musical da cidade, principalmente em parceria com a Sociedade PróMúsica de Curitiba, Schnorrenberg não foi reconhecido como personagem relevante à história da música de concerto na capital paranaense. Este trabalho pretende apresentar o legado cultural deixado pelo maestro a Curitiba e assimilar possíveis causas para seu esquecimento histórico, bem como as interações sociais entre Schnorrenberg, a burguesia curitibana e o público participante da cena artística da cidade. Aplica-se pesquisa documental a partir de fontes localizadas em acervos inativos, documentação não-catalogada e trabalhos acadêmicos anteriores que abordam o mesmo tema sob enfoque histórico-musicológico

Abstract : Roberto Schnorrenberg (1929-1983) was a Brazilian conductor, composer and cultural producer who worked in the Curitiba music scene between 1964 and 1982. Despite participating significantly in the city's musical context, specially in partnership with Sociedade Pró-Música de Curitiba, Schnorrenberg was not recognized as a relevant character in the history of the capital of Paraná's concert music. This work intends to rescue the cultural legacy left by the conductor to Curitiba and to assimilate what would be possible causes for its historical neglect, and also the social interactions between Schnorrenberg, the musical bourgeoisie and the art-consuming public of the city. Documentary research is applied from sources located in inactive collections, noncataloged documentation and previous academic works that address the same theme under historical-musicological approach
