Primórdios da regional da Sociedade Brasileira de Educação Matemática no Paraná

Abstract

Resumo: O presente trabalho objetiva levantar informações sobre os primeiros passos para a criação da Sociedade Brasileira de Educação Matemática Regional Paraná, anteriores ao ano de 1995, considerado o ano em que a SBEM – PR se inicia. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório de abordagem qualitativa, em que é feito um levantamento documental e entrevista com professora que participou nacional e regionalmente dos primeiros eventos em direção à SBEM. Para compor uma linha do tempo que chegasse até a SBEM – PR, foi realizada uma breve trajetória da chegada da conceituação de Educação Matemática por meio de anais de eventos internacionais (ICME) e brasileiros (ENEM), literatura oriunda das sociedades que foram sendo criadas (ICMI) e de trabalhos acadêmicos, especialmente no caso da criação da SBEM. O tratamento dos dados obtidos, as análises documentais dos Encontros Paranaenses de Educação Matemática (EPREM I, II e III) e, particularmente, as respostas dadas à entrevista, mesmo que realizada por perguntas via e-mail, evidenciam primórdios da SBEM – PR antes de 1995, ano a partir do qual são existentes as atas da Sociedade

Abstract: The current research intends to collect informations about the initials steps for the creation of the Brazilian Society of Mathematics Education in Paraná before 1995. It is an exploratory study of qualitative approach, which brings a documental knowledge and an interview through e-mail with a teacher who was involved both national and regionally with the firsts events directed to SBEM. With the intention of creating a timeline arrinving until the SBEM – PR, it was realized a short trajectory of the arrival to the conceptualization of Mathematics Education through internationals and brazilian annals events (ICME and ENEM), when literature deriving from the societies that was being created (ICMI) and also academic works, specially about the SBEM’s creation. The treatment of the data aquired, the documental analysis of the Paranaense Mathematics Education Encounters (I, II and III EPREM) and, particularly, the answers given to the interview, even through the questions were sent from e-mail, showed that the beginning of SBEM – PR before 1995, the year which there are the firsts protocols and records of the Society
