Intervenção em patrimônio industrial edificado : reciclagem do antigo conjunto arquitetônico da Moinhos Unidos Brasil - Mate S.A. -

Abstract

Resumo : Este trabalho tem por objetivo formar um arcabouço teórico-conceitual que servirá como base para a definição das principais diretrizes projetuais que nortearão o Projeto de Intervenção em Patrimônio Industrial Edificado, a ser desenvolvido em etapa posterior. O objeto de estudo escolhido é o antigo conjunto fabril Moinhos Unidos Brasil - Mate S/A - popularmente conhecido como "Mate Real" -, localizado no bairro Rebouças, em Curitiba-PR. Juntamente com outras edificações fabris da região, compunha o polo industrial da cidade de Curitiba, que imprimiu no tecido urbano um desenho bastante característico, originando uma paisagem de grande expressividade compositiva e de testemunho histórico-cultural. A Mate Real é atualmente o principal exemplar da arquitetura industrial diretamente ligado ao Ciclo da Erva Mate - mais importante ciclo econômico vivido pelo Estado. A pesquisa é composta por quatro etapas: a primeira delas é a etapa filológica, que compreende o levantamento histórico, físico e de contexto urbano do objeto de estudo; a segunda etapa consiste de uma revisão bibliográfica das conceituações e discussões relacionadas a questão patrimonial, em especial o patrimônio industrial urbano, recorte conceitual no qual o objeto de estudo se insere; a terceira etapa apresenta um estudo da tipologia escolar de ensino médio e superior, que corresponde ao novo uso proposto; e, finalmente, a quarta é composta pelas diretrizes projetuais que deverão nortear o projeto de intervenção

Abstract : This work aims to form a theoretical and conceptual framework that will serve as a basis for defining the main projective guidelines, which will guide the intervention project in an Industrial Heritage building, to be developed at a later stage. The chosen object of study is the old industrial complex Moinhos Unidos Brasil - Mate S.A. - popularly known as "Mate Real" - located in the district Rebouças in CuritibaPR. Along with other manufacturing buildings in the region, the Mate Real used to be part of the industrial hub of Curitiba, which printed the urban fabric in a very characteristic design, creating a landscape of great compositional expressiveness and historical-cultural reference. Mate Real is currently the leading example of industrial architecture directly linked to the Erva-Mate cycle – the most important economic cycle experienced by the state of Paraná. The study consists of four stages: the first is the philological stage, which comprises the historical, physical and urban contextual survey of the study object; the second stage consists of a literature review of concepts and discussions related to the patrimonial question, especially the urban industrial heritage, conceptual cutout in which the study object is inserted; the third stage presents a study of secondary and higher education school typology , which is the proposed new use for the Mate Real Industrial building; and finally, the fourth consists of the design guidelines that should guide the intervention project
