Silêncio na arquitetura : nova sede para a Camerata Antigua de Curitiba/PR

Abstract

Resumo : O trabalho apresenta uma breve discussão sobre as possíveis relações entre duas formas artísticas, arquitetura e música. Com o intuito de ter embasamento teórico para o projeto de um edifício voltado a música, o texto buscou exemplos significativos que identificassem tal relação. Primeiramente em um enfoque mais panorâmico, identificaram-se vínculos ligados a matemática, comuns entre as artes. Mas, de maneira geral, o texto acabou salientando mais os aspectos abstratos. Relações que transpassam os simples aspectos literais e estão mais ligados ao sentimento humano. O fenômeno de sensações e significados que envolvem a música e também está presentes na arquitetura. Dessa forma, acabou-se por refletir sobre alguns conceitos abstratos como silêncio, luz, sombra, vento, entre outros; e como grandes mestres da arquitetura manipulam e materializam tais elementos. Com isso, o texto possibilitou a compreensão de como ação e conceituação de projeto arquitetônico podem ser revelados na prática e como aspectos tão abstratos podem ser fonte diretiva de fazer rquitetura.

Abstract : The paper presents a brief discussion of the possible relations between two artistic forms, architecture and music. With the intention of having theoretical basis for the design of a building facing the music, the text sought to identify significant examples of this relationship.First in a more panoramic approach, we identified the links related to mathematics, common among the arts. But overall, the text was emphasizing the more abstract aspects. Relationships that pierce the simple and literal aspects are more related to human feeling. The phenomenon of feelings and meanings that surround music and are also present in the architecture.Thus, ended up by thinking about some abstract concepts such as silence, light, shade, wind, among others, and how great masters of architecture and manipulate these factors materialize. Because this allowed the text to understand how action concept of architectural design can be revealed in practice and how such abstract aspects can be a source of policy making architecture
