Mídias urbanas : complexo cívico linear na região central de Curitiba

Abstract

Resumo : Esta monografia pretende discutir questões relacionadas à invasão de dispositivos midiáticos no espaço público e suas potencialidades para engajamento cívico e troca cultural dentro de um contexto local. O embasamento teórico desenvolveu-se a partir de reflexões acerca das mudanças estruturais por que tem passado a sociedade contemporânea, em especial as transformações relativas aos avanços da tecnologia e as novas oportunidades permitidas por aparelhos de comunicação. Considerando as implicações das mídias emergentes na conformação e nas maneiras de apropriação do espaço público – especificamente aquelas que dizem respeito à arquitetura interativa, arquitetura midiática e painéis eletrônicos em escala urbana – propõe-se possibilidades de integração do ambiente construído com o espaço informacional, acessível via interfaces tecnológicas. Tendo como objetivo a conceituação para o desenvolvimento de um Complexo Cívico Linear, também foram elaboradas análises da área de intervenção proposta e estabelecidas diretrizes para o projeto subsequente

Abstract : This essay intends to discuss the subjects associated to the invasion of media devices in the public space and its potentialities to civic engagement and cultural exchange within a local context. The theoretical framework developed from reflections on the structural changes that has the contemporary society been through, especially the transformations concerning the advances of technology and the new opportunities allowed by communication equipments. Given the implications of the emerging medias on the shaping and the appropriation of the public space – particularly those associated to interactive architecture, media architecture and electronic screens in urban scale – it is proposed possibilities to integrate the built environment and the informational space, reachable by technological interfaces. Aiming the conceptual basis for the development of a Linear Civic Complex, were also elaborated analysis of the proposed intervention area and were established guidelines to the following project
