Escola de Dança Teatro Guaíra : nova sede

Abstract

Resumo : Esta pesquisa objetiva servir de embasamento teórico para a realização do Trabalho Final de Graduação do curso de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade Federal do Paraná. Através desse trabalho, procurou-se resgatar a importância da Escola para o cenário cultural do Estado do Paraná e, portanto, demonstrar a necessidade de alcançar a visibilidade merecida pela Escola, por meio de um projeto que vise não só uma estrutura adequada à prática da dança, mas que faça jus ao belo trabalho exercido por ela ao longo desses 57 anos. Por intermédio do estudo da evolução da dança até a época presente, sua situação no Brasil e em Curitiba, e, principalmente,ao analisar obras correlatas e o funcionamento da própria instituição, chegou-se à elaboração de um programa de necessidades que, juntamente com a análise da realidade do local onde será inserida, servirão como diretrizes projetuais para a próxima etapa do trabalho que se seguirá: o desenvolvimento de um projeto para anova sede da Escola de Dança Teatro Guaíra

Abstract : The following research aims to provide a theoretical basis for the construction of the Final Work Degree of the Architecture and Urbanism major at Federal University of Paraná. Through this work, we attempted to rescue the Guaíra Theatre’s Dance Academy’s importance in the cultural scene of the State of Paraná, and thus demonstrate the need to achieve the visibility the Academy deserves through a project that aims not only a suitable structure to practice dance, but that does justice to the beautiful work done by it over the past 57 years. Through the study of the evolution of dance until nowadays, its situation in Brazil and Curitiba and especially the analysis of related works and the operation of the institution, there was developed a program with the institution needs, which along with the analysis of the reality of the place where it will be inserted will serve as project guideline for the next stage of the work: the development of an architectural design for the new headquarters of the Guaíra Theatre’s Dance Academy
