Reanatomização de dentes anteriores superiores com facetas diretas em resina composta envolvendo agenesia de incisivo lateral e incisivo lateral conóide : relato de caso

Abstract

Resumo : O tratamento estético na Odontologia em casos que envolvem agenesia de incisivo lateral superior (AILS) e incisivo lateral conoide superior (ILCS) é clinicamente desafiante. Atualmente existem algumas alternativas de diferentes especialidades odontológicas que podem restabelecer a estética e função do paciente. Este relato de caso clínico tem por objetivo apresentar as etapas clínicas da reanatomização de dentes anteriores envolvendo AILS e ILC utilizando uma resina composta unicromática por meio da técnica da matriz. Paciente M.D.C, 28 anos de idade, do gênero masculino, chegou à Clínica de Odontologia da UFPR com queixa principal de assimetria do sorriso, após cirurgia ortognática e tratamento ortodôntico. Foi realizado o enceramento de diagnóstico e ensaio restaurador com resina bisacrilica dos elementos 14, 13, 11, 21, 22 e 23. Após a aprovação do paciente foram confeccionas facetas de resina composta submicrométrica e unicromática (Vittra APS Unique) por meio da técnica da matriz, com posterior acabamento e polimento. Concluiu-se que a técnica da matriz com resina unicromática apresentou resultado estético satisfatório, porém quando existe um planejamento conjunto das diferentes especialidades da Odontologia no início do tratamento, melhores resultados podem ser obtidos.

Abstract : Aesthetic treatment in dentistry in cases involving maxillary lateral incisor agenesis (MLIA) and conoid maxilar lateral incisor (CMLI) is clinically challenging. Currently there are some alternatives from different dental specialties that can restore the patient's aesthetics and function. This clinical case report aims to present the clinical steps of reanatomization of anterior teeth involving MLIA and CLI using a unichromatic composite resin with the matrix technique. Patient M.D.C, 28 years old, male, arrived at the UFPR Dentistry Clinic with a chief complaint of smile asymmetry after orthognathic surgery and orthodontic treatment. A diagnostic wax-up and restorative test were performed with bisacrylic resin of elements 14, 13, 11, 21, 22 and 23. After the patient's approval, veneers of submicrometric and unichromatic composite resin (Vittra APS Unique) were made using the technique of matrix, with subsequent finishing and polishing. It was concluded that the matrix technique with unichromatic resin presented aesthetic results, but when there is a joint planning of the different specialties of Dentistry at the beginning of the treatment, the best results can be obtained.
