Análise dos indicadores de saúde materna e de cobertura das equipes de saúde bucal nos municípios da Região Metropolitana de Curitiba, de 2019 a 2022

Abstract

Resumo : A gestação é um momento em que acontecem diversas alterações fisiológicas e psicológicas, sendo que o acompanhamento pré-natal das áreas de Medicina / Enfermagem e pré-natal odontológico pelas equipes multiprofissionais da Atenção Primária é imprescindível para um bom desenvolvimento do bebê e para a saúde da mulher. Neste sentido, o objetivo deste trabalho consistiu em analisar os indicadores de saúde materna e de cobertura das equipes de saúde bucal nos municípios da região metropolitana de Curitiba, no contexto da pandemia de Covid-19. Para tanto, foi realizado um estudo ecológico, descritivo, correlacional, com o uso de dados secundários quantitativos, cujas unidades de análise foram os municípios da Região Metropolitana de Curitiba-PR. Foram analisados os seguintes indicadores: Proporção de gestantes com pelo menos seis consultas pré-natal realizadas, sendo a 1ª até a 12ª semana de gestação; Proporção de Gestantes com Atendimento Odontológico realizado; Cobertura das Equipes de Saúde Bucal da Atenção Básica; e Cobertura das Equipes de Saúde Bucal da Estratégia Saúde da Família. Foi conduzida análise estatística descritiva e realizado o teste de correlação de Pearson, com nível de significância de 95%. Os resultados obtidos neste estudo revelaram redução na realização de pré-natal em alguns municípios, principalmente no ano de 2020, com o início da pandemia. Entretanto, essa redução foi ainda maior, atingindo vários municípios, ao analisar o indicador de atendimento odontológico, retornando a sua ampliação a partir de 2022. Em se tratando da cobertura das equipes de saúde bucal, houve oscilações, porém de forma variável entre os municípios. Encontrou-se correlação positiva entre a proporção de gestantes com pré-natal realizado e com atendimento odontológico realizado. Com isso, ressalta-se a importância de equipes multiprofissionais para o cuidado integral das gestantes, visto que isso refletiu em resultados positivos nos indicadores dos municípios. Ademais, salienta-se a importância da alimentação adequada dos sistemas de informação, oportunizando o acesso a dados confiáveis para o planejamento e avaliação de políticas públicas.

Abstract : Pregnancy is a time when several physiological and psychological changes occur, and prenatal and dental follow-up by multidisciplinary Primary Care teams is essential for the good development of the baby and for the woman's health. In this sense, the objective of this study was to analyze the evolution of maternal health indicators and the coverage of oral health teams in the municipalities of the metropolitan region of Curitiba, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. For that, an ecological, descriptive, correlational study was carried out, using secondary quantitative data, whose units of analysis were the municipalities of the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba-PR. The following indicators were analyzed: Proportion of pregnant women with at least six prenatal consultations, from the 1st to the 12th week of pregnancy; Proportion of Pregnant Women with Dental Care Performed; Coverage of Primary Care Oral Health Teams; and Coverage of the Family Health Strategy Oral Health Teams. Descriptive statistical analysis was conducted and Pearson's correlation test was performed, with a significance level of 95%. The results obtained in this study revealed a reduction in prenatal care in some municipalities, especially in 2020, with the onset of the pandemic. However, this reduction was even greater, reaching several municipalities, when analyzing the dental care indicator, returning to its expansion from 2022. When it comes to the coverage of oral health teams, there were oscillations, but in a variable way between municipalities. A positive correlation was found between the proportion of pregnant women with prenatal care and dental care. With this, the importance of multidisciplinary teams for the integral care of pregnant women is highlighted, since this reflected in positive results in the indicators of the municipalities. Furthermore, the importance of adequate feeding of information systems is highlighted, providing access to reliable data for the planning and evaluation of public policies.
