Contagem de soluções inteiras de equações lineares de coeficientes unitários

Abstract

Resumo : Equações lineares, sobretudo as de primeiro grau, são corriqueiras ao longo dos anos de estudo, desde o Ensino Fundamental ao Ensino Superior, e não apenas em Matemática, mas também em Física e Química. No entanto, em todas essas ocasiões, a prioridade, quando se fala em equações lineares, são suas soluções de maneira qualitativa, ou seja, quais são. Nesse trabalho abordamos esse assunto de maneira quantitativa, contando as soluções de equações lineares (no caso, as de coeficientes unitários), com diversas condições. Ao final, percebemos que esse cálculo nada mais é do que uma aplicação de alguns conceitos de contagem e combinatória, se mostrando um exemplo bem interessante da área.

Abstract : Linear equations, mainly those of first degree, are commonplace in the years of study, since elementary school all the way to the University, and not only in Mathematics, but also in Physics and Chemistry. Nonetheless, in all those instances, the priority when talking about linear equations are the qualitative aspects of it. In other words, what are these solutions. In this work we approach this subject in a quantitative way, counting the solutions of linear equations (in this case, those with unit coefficients), with various conditions applied. At the end, we realize this procces is nothing more than an application of some basic concepts of combinatorics, showing itself as a really interesting example of the subject
