Bananicultura convencional e sua influência na territorialidade, nos saberes tradicionais e na multifuncionalidade da agricultura na comunidade do Cubatão, Guaratuba/PR

Abstract

Resumo: O modelo agrícola imposto sobre as populações rurais nas últimas décadas segue a chamada Revolução Verde que propõe uma agricultura com utilização maciça dos pacotes agroquímicos. Tal modelo exclui os saberes tradicionais, conhecimentos, práticas e manejos acumulados ao longo do tempo, invisibilizando a multifuncionalidade da agricultura. A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar a relação e influência do agronegócio (bananicultura convencional) com a multifuncionalidade da paisagem e da agricultura e as territorialidades presentes na agricultura familiar camponesa, a partir da percepção dos estudantes, pais e professores do Colégio Estadual do Campo Cubatão, Guaratuba/PR. Metodologicamente a pesquisa se desenvolveu a partir da abordagem investigativa sistêmica, participativa e dialógica. Foram utilizados questionários semiestruturados, oficinas, círculo de cultura de Paulo Freire, rodas de conversa, caminhadas transversais, reuniões com informantes chaves, encontros coletivos, foto documentação e pesquisa secundária no intuito de compreender a realidade da agricultura familiar camponesa presente em Cubatão. A pesquisa evidenciou que o agronegócio pautado na produção de bananas, arranjadas em monoculturas, tem influenciado negativamente as múltiplas funções da paisagem e da agricultura (com destaque à prevalência dos sistemas simplificados de produção e seus desdobramentos inerentes, tais como perda da agrobiodiversidade, perda das áreas florestadas, diminuição da reciprocidade, do trabalho coletivo, manifestações culturais e reprodução socioeconômica das famílias), bem como afetado drasticamente as territorialidades, redes de saberes e outras formas de sociabilidade em Cubatão. Acredita-se que o caráter investigativo participativo da pesquisa, minimamente, possibilitou aos participantes reflexões mais abrangentes sobre o modelo vigente, pois as indagações e questões geradoras apresentadas nas entrevistas e dinâmicas tinham também este objetivo, provocar uma avaliação e reflexão crítica.

Abstract: The agricultural model imposed in the rural societies decades ago has been called "Green Revolution", proposing a massive agricultural, utilizing the packages of agrochemicals. This model excludes the traditionals, ideas, knowledge, practices or managements accumulated in so many years, turning invisible the agricultural multifunctionality. The present research has as objective to analyze the relation and the influence of the conventional agribusiness bananas growing with the multifunctionalities of landscapes and the peasant family farming, according to the students', parents' and teacher's perceptions, from the Estadual School Campo Cubatão, in PR - Guaratuba. Methodologically the research was developmented from the investigative, systematic, participatory and dialogic approach. To this research were utilized semi-structured questionnaires, workshops, culture circles, transversal walkings about Paulo Freire, get-together with keys informants, collective meetings, photo document and secondary research, with the intention to understand the reality about the peasant family farming present in Cubatão. The research evidences that agribusiness ruled in banana industry arranged in monocultures has been negatively influencing the multiple functions of the landscape and agriculture, highlighting the prevalence of simplified productions system and itself inherent ramifications, loss of agrobiodiversity, loss of forested areas, decrease in reciprocity of collective work, cultural manifestations and in the family socioeconomic productions, besides hardly affected the territorialities, knowledge' society and other ways to sociability in Cubatão. Beliefs that the participatory investigative character of this research minimally made possible more comprehensive reflections about the current model to participants, because the inquiries and questions presented to the interviews and dynamics had the same goals, to induce a critical reflection evaluation.
