Adolescentes institucionalizadas vítimas de abuso sexual : análise de um processo terapêutico em grupo

Resumo: Pessoas que sofreram abuso sexual na infância ou adolescência carregam inúmeras seqüelas emocionais provenientes do abuso, em diferentes graus, podendo inclusive tomarem-se multiplicadores de maus-tratos. Este estudo teve como objetivo geral a análise de um processo terapêutico em grupo desenvolvido com cinco adolescentes do sexo feminino que foram vítimas de abuso sexual intrafamiliar. Foi um trabalho de prevenção terciária, pois visou diminuir seqüelas deixadas pelo abuso sexual e melhorar o repertório de enfrentamento das participantes. A equipe terapêutica foi composta de três psicólogas: a terapeuta que conduziu o trabalho e duas co-terapeutas que se revezavam no comparecimento às sessões. O processo teve quinze sessões e foi dividido em fases, tendo cada uma seu objetivo específico: I - Preparação - dessensibilizar para facilitar a autoexposição; II - Revelação e exposição de sentimentos - facilitar a revelação do abuso sexual, promover a exposição de sentimentos; III - Aceitação - discutir a aceitação do abuso sexual e seu lugar na história de vida da pessoa; IV - Prevenção - facilitar a aprendizagem de comportamentos de auto-proteção que impeçam a revitimização. A descrição do processo foi feita em sessões, cada uma contendo: estratégias utilizadas, relato do desenvolvimento, avaliação e discussão. Os resultados mostram que exposições graduais ao tema feitas em grupo podem facilitar a revelação do abuso sexual e a expressão de sentimentos, o que abre caminho para a prevenção da revitimização através da aprendizagem de comportamentos de auto-proteção. Abstract: People who suffered sexual abuse in childhood or adolescence carry a great number of abuse-related sequelae, in different degrees, and they could even become maltreatment multipliers. This study general aim was the analysis of one therapeutic group process developed with five female teenagers who were intrafamiliar sexual abuse victims. It was a tertiary prevention procedure that aimed for the sequelae reduction left by the sexual abuse, and improve their tools for facing up to the abuse situation. The therapeutic team was constituted by three psychologists: the one who leads the procedure, and two co-psychotherapists which took turns attending to the sessions. The process was composed of fifteen sessions, and was divided into four phases, which one having an specific aim: I- Preparation - desensitization to facilitate the self-exposure; II - Revelation and feelings exposure - to facilitate the sexual abuse revelation, and promote the feelings exposure; III - Acceptance - to discuss the sexual abuse acceptance, and its place in the person's life history; IV - Prevention - to faciltate the learning of self-protection behaviors that prevent theirselves from revictimization. The process description was done by sessions, which one containing: employed strategies, development, valuation and discussion. The results show that the gradual exposures to the subject made inside the group can facilitate the sexual abuse disclosure, and the feelings expression, and both lead to the prevention of the revictimization through the learning of self-protection behaviors.
