Feições erosivas no noroeste do Paraná : morfometria e evolução
Abstract: The colonization of Northwest Paraná occurred after the removal of it's native vegetation this triggered the emergence of urban and rural erosions mainly at the headwaters of drainage, but it was also noted that there were erosions with different characteristics distinct from those related by anthropic influence. The use of remote sensing images allowed the verification that erosions existed characteristics distinct from those related to anthropic influence. These contrast with the regional morphological characteristics. Therefore, with the support of morphometric indexes and field evidence, sought develop a model of spatial evolution of these erosive features located on a hydrographic divider, between the Ivaí and Paranapanema hydrographic basins. Also, the following specific objectives were defined: to compare digital elevation models for relief metrics; extract the morphometry of the features; evaluate the stability of the dividers by algorithms applied to digital elevation models and characterize the drainage network. To achieve to the objectives, the following methods and techniques: acquisition of field images with RPA; comparison and choice of the digital elevation model; morphometric indexes; characterization of the drainage network by mathematical algorithms and development of an evolutionary model. From the measurements and field data, it is possible four stages of evolution have been defined for the features. The first stage: represents your current configuration; the second, the evolution of the relief from the adjustment of a drainage capture; the third, the union of the three features by small segments, and finally in the fourth, the coalescence of all the features.
