O desenvolvimento do conceito de juízo na filosofia de Gottlob Frege

Abstract

Resumo: Nesta dissertação analisamos o conceito de juízo na filosofia de Frege. De modo geral, Frege considera o juízo como um ato de tomar determinado conteúdo por verdadeiro. Isto posto, no primeiro capítulo expomos o desenvolvimento da noção de conteúdo julgável ao longo dos trabalhos de Frege. No segundo capítulo buscamos entender o estatuto ontológico desse conteúdo. No terceiro capítulo discorremos sobre a estrutura lógica do conteúdo julgável. No quarto capítulo dissertamos sobre a verdade desse conteúdo entendida como valor. Concluímos apontando algumas contribuições de Frege para o entendimento do conceito de juízo.

Abstract: In this dissertation we analyze the concept of judgement in Frege’s philosophy. In general terms, Frege considers judgement to be an act of acknowledging certain content as true. That said, in the first chapter we expound the development of the notion of judgeable content throughout Frege’s work. In the second chapter we seek to understand the ontological status of this content. In the third chapter we dissert on the logical structure of the judgeable content. In the fourth chapter we dissert on truth understood as value. Lastly, we conclude by pointing out some of Frege’s contributions to the understanding of the concept of judgement.
