Lista de espécies da flora vascular do município de Curitiba, PR

Abstract

Resumo : O Brasil é o país com a maior biodiversidade do mundo, tendo grande responsabilidade quanto a estratégias de conservação em diferentes escalas. Para isto, o conhecimento regional sobre as espécies de plantas, incluindo levantamentos florísticos locais, além da identificação de ameaças para a flora nativa, são importantes para que tomadas de decisões sejam compatíveis com as realidades locais. O município de Curitiba abrange 432,17 km² e se encontra na parte sul do Primeiro Planalto do Paraná, a uma altitude média de 934,6m s.n.m. Em Curitiba ocorrem três unidades fitogeográficas, Floresta Ombrófila Mista (FOM), Formações Pioneiras com Influência Fluvial (FPIF) e Estepe Gramíneo-Lenhosa (EGL), das quais restam atualmente apenas remanescentes esparsos. O presente estudo objetivou elaborar uma lista de espécies, por meio de registros em herbários, da flora vascular do município de Curitiba, quantificando a riqueza de espécies nativas e exóticas do município, identificando a existência de espécies exóticas invasoras, bem como a presença de táxons em risco de extinção, com interesse prioritário de conservação. O trabalho foi realizado a partir da seleção de registros de herbários no município com coletas exclusivamente realizadas em Curitiba, os quais foram reunidos e ordenados em planilhas eletrônicas, processados e analisados com auxílio do software RStudio e conferidos manualmente por meio de consulta ao portal Flora do Brasil 2020, quanto às validações nomenclaturais, avaliações de ameaça e ocorrência. A lista de espécies da flora vascular de Curitiba reuniu 3.281 espécies, sendo 2.371 nativas do Brasil. A lista reúne 209 famílias botânicas, onde destacam-se em riqueza de espécies Asteraceae (391), Fabaceae (256) e Poaceae (221). Quanto ao status de ameaça, constatou-se que apenas 361 espécies nativas do Brasil já foram avaliadas, das quais 4 se encontram como "criticamente em perigo", 36 como "em perigo", 19 como "vulnerável", 29 como "quase ameaçada" e 11 possuem dados insuficientes. Dentre as 910 exóticas, 36 são invasoras. O total de espécies nativas registrado em Curitiba representa 36,9% da riqueza de espécies nativas do estado do Paraná.

Abstract : As the country with the largest biodiversity in the world, Brazil has a great responsibility for conservation strategies at different scales. For this purpose, regional knowledge about plant species, including local floristic surveys, and identification of threats to the native flora are important for the decision-making being compatible with the local realities. The municipality of Curitiba covers 432.17 km² and is located in the southern part of the First Plateau of Paraná, nearly 934.6 meters above sea level. Three phytogeographic units occur in Curitiba, Araucaria Rainforest (FOM), Floodplain vegetation (FPIF) and Grasslands (EGL), of which only sparse remnants remain today. This study aimed to elaborate a species list of the vascular flora of the city of Curitiba using herbarium records, quantifying the richness of native and exotic species, identifying the invasive exotic species and the presence of endangered taxa with priority conservation interest. The work was carried out from the selection of records from herbaria in the city, with collections exclusively made in Curitiba, which were collected and sorted into electronic spreadsheets, processed and analyzed with the software RStudio and checked manually by consulting the portal Flora of Brazil 2020, considering nomenclatural validations and evaluations of threat and occurrence. The list of species of the vascular flora of Curitiba gathered 3,281 species, of which 2,371 are native of Brazil. The list brings together 209 botanical families, where Asteraceae (391), Fabaceae (256) and Poaceae (223) stand out in species richness. Concerning threat status, only 361 native species have been evaluated, of which 4 are "critically endangered", 36 "endangered", 19 "vulnerable", 29 "near threatened" and 11 have "insufficient data". Among the 910 exotic species, 36 are invasive. The total number of native species recorded in Curitiba represents 36.9% of the vascular plants native of the state of Paraná.
