A Atuação do psicólogo nas instituições jurídicas de atendimento à criança e ao adolescente na cidade de Curitiba

Abstract

Resumo: A presente pesquisa teve como objetivos levantar as atividades desenvolvidas pelos psicólogos que atuam em instituições jurídicas de atendimento a família, a criança e ao adolescente, e discutir a formação acadêmica do psicólogo que atua nesta área. A amostra foi composta por sete psicólogos que trabalham na cidade de Curitiba que lidam com a proteção da criança e do adolescente e com as medidas sócio-educativas. Os dados foram coletados através de entrevistas de profundidade e analisados qualitativamente através de dois eixos temáticos, referentes aos objetivos da pesquisa, que originaram as categorias e subcategorias de análise. Verificou-se que, apesar das mudanças sugeridas pela literatura para a expansão das atividades de atuação do psicólogo nas instituições jurídicas, ainda há um predomínio na realização das avaliações psicológicas. Outras atividades exercidas foram a orientação familiar em grupo, encaminhamento de casos, mediação e conciliação de questões referentes ao menor. Foram apontadas algumas dificuldades iniciais na atuação do psicólogo em como em como lidar com a população atendida, elaborar documentos de avaliação, unir a teoria com a prática e compreender os conceitos jurídicos, o que resultou na procura dos psicólogos pelos cursos de pós-graduação na área clínica. A identidade destes profissionais ainda não esta delimitada mas encontra-se em processo de discussão.

Abstract: This research had the purpose , study the activities developed by the psychologists who act in juridical institutions that works in assistance to the family, to the child and to the adolescent, beyond to check the academic background of them, and discuss the psychologist identity, that works in this area. The sample was composed by seven psychologists that work in Curitiba City and handle with protection of the minor and with social-educational steps. The dates were collected by deep interviews and analysed with quality throught three thematic axes, referent to the purposes, that originate the categories and sub-categories in the analysis. Checked the conclusion that, in spite of the changes sugested by the literature in a expansion activities of the psychologists, there's still a predominance in realization of the psychological evaluations. Others activities practiced were the families orientation in group, conduction of cases, mediation and combinations of the questions referent to the minor. Were pointed out some beginners difficulties in the works of the psychologists, like handle with population assisted, to draw up documents of evaluation, unite the theory with the practice and understand the juridical concepts what resulted in the seek of psychologists by the courses of post-graduation in clinic area. The identity of these professionals is still not restrit, but stay in process of discussion.
