Estudo do diálogo íon de Platão : interpretações, texto em grego, tradução e notas

Abstract

Resumo: O presente trabalho tem como tema o diálogo Ion ou acerca da Ilíada de Platão, a partir do qual desenvolve-se uma pesquisa em dois eixos: histórico interpretativo e filológico. O primeiro eixo tem o objetivo de investigar e esclarecer a dúvida acerca da autenticidade do diálogo, que foi colocada pelos primeiros estudos clássicos da incipiente Filologia Alemã, embora, em relação ao período supradeterminado, se investigue elementos anteriores, tais como as referências que foram legadas por Diógenes Laércio a nós e as considerações de Goethe, e posteriores, tais como as interpretações de W. J. Verdenius e H. Flashar, que possivelmente é responsável por iniciar uma nova fase interpretativa na qual a questão central não é mais a autenticidade ou inautenticidade do diálogo, mas a determinação do seu núcleo temático. Nesse sentido, o primeiro eixo propõe ainda um caminho interpretativo que indique o núcleo temático e o sentido filosófico do diálogo, sendo ele indicado pela direção da conversa que parte das questões práticas da atividade do rapsodo e se direciona para o que torna possível toda atividade. O segundo eixo tem o objetivo de apresentar uma edição do texto grego com uma tradução e notas. A edição, com o aparato crítico, segue a edição estabelecida por A. Rijksbaron, a tradução segue como critério a aproximação ao texto grego e as notas buscam ampliar informações do texto e da tradução.

Abstract: Plato's dialogue Ion is the main subject of this study, from which I develop a research in two areas: interpretive historical area and a philological one. The first area aims to examine and to clarify the doubt concerning the authenticity of the dialogue, which was first posed by the early classical studies of the incipient German Philology, although, about the aforementioned period, I investigate earlier elements, such as the references left to us by Diogenes Laertius and Goethe's criticism, and later ones, such as the interpretations of W. J. Verdenius and H. Flashar, that was responsible for initiating a new interpretive phase in which the main question is no longer the authenticity or inauthenticity of the dialogue, but the determination of its thematic core. Therefore, I also propose an interpretive path that indicates the thematic core and the philosophical meaning of the dialogue, which is indicated by the direction of the conversation that starts from questions about practical rhapsodic activity and moves towards what makes all activity possible. The second area aims to present a translation of the dialogue with the Greek text and notes. The Greek text, with the critical apparatus, follows the edition established by A. Rijksbaron, the translation follows as a criterion the approximation to the Greek text, and the notes attempt to amplify the information about the text and the translation.
