Sobre o declínio da função paterna : exegese e atualidade

Abstract

Resumo: O presente trabalho tem por objetivo concernir a tese do declinio da funcao paterna enunciada pelo psicanalista Jacques Lacan. O cenario de um declinio relacionado a figura paterna por si so demonstra a relevancia teorica do estudo do tema. Ademais, a enunciacao por parte de psicanalistas atuais de uma formulacao de 1938 tem sido veementemente marcada, e apontada por comentadores como impactante tanto no campo teorico (corpo teorico e de ensino) quanto no campo clinico (direcao de cura). Para alcancar nosso objetivo, analisamos a origem da tese no texto os Complexos familiares bem como o trabalho de alguns autores que consideramos estrategicos nessa producao lacaniana. A seguir, investigamos uma possivel elaboracao do declinio da funcao paterna em Sigmund Freud a partir do texto Totem e Tabu. Por fim, refletimos a respeito do declinio da funcao paterna na visao de psicanalistas atuais, para tanto elencamos Charles Melman e Jean Pierre Lebrun e o livro O homem sem gravidade. Constatamos que nao ha uma unanimidade por parte dos psicanalistas atuais em relacao a tese do declinio dividindo-se entre duas correntes de pensamento. A corrente mais divulgada na atualidade estabelece uma conjuncao entre o declinio da imagem social do pai e o declinio da funcao paterna. Em decorrencia do contato com o tema, tecemos algumas consideracoes eticas em relacao a esta concepcao da tese do declinio social da imago paterna na atualidade. Palavras-chave: Funcao paterna. Abstract: The present work aims to define the thesis of the decline in the paternal function developed by psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan. The scenario of a decline related to the paternal figure alone demonstrates the theoretical relevance of the study of the theme. Furthermore, the enunciation by practicing psychoanalysts of a formulation of 1938 has been vehemently marked, and identified by pundits as impacting both the theoretical field (theoretical and academic body) and in the clinical field (direction of treatment). To achieve our purpose, we analyzed the origin of the thesis in Family Complexes as well as the work of authors that we consider strategic in this Lacanian production. Next, we investigated a possible elaboration of the decline of the paternal function by Sigmund Freud in his book Totem and Taboo. Finally, we reflected on the decline of the paternal function from the perspective of current psychoanalysts, for which we chose Charles Melman and Jean-Pierre Lebrun and the book Man without Gravity. We found that there is no unanimity among current psychoanalysts about the thesis of decline, being divided between two currents of thought. The most popular current attests to a conjunction between the decline of the social image of the father and the decline of the paternal function. As a result of the contact with this theme, we have made some ethical considerations on this understanding of the theory of the decline social of the paternal imago today.
