Para além das grades e regras sociabilidade e loucura : uma análise no manicômio judiciário do Paraná

Abstract

Resumo: A dissertação apresenta a formação história da loucura e dos manicômios na Europa e procura discutir o papel político que aí desempenham o saber médico e jurídico. Considera presentes as questões da relação indivíduo-sociedade e o processo de racionalização na constituição das práticas inerentes à prisão e o discurso legitimador sobre a loucura. Esta parte do trabalho está baseada na linha teórica de Michel Foucault, onde a loucura e a prisão são analisadas pelas funções que elas preenchem nas sociedades modernas. Na segunda parte, o trabalho apresenta o indivíduo, interno no manicômio judiciário, identificado fora das malhas do poder e do controle, que constrói espaços de sociabilidade e, nesses espaços, garante o retomo do "eu", pois são os espaços da recriação da sua identidade, da sua condição de sujeito, que possui voz própria. Longe de serem produtos da vigilância, sem fala e sem rosto, institucionalizados pelas normas e regras, os internos são sujeitos, que vivem e desejam viver, mesmo que para isso precisem fabricar um mundo paralelo.

Abstract: The dissertation presents the formation history of the madness and of the insane asylums in Europe and it tries to discuss the political paper that there carry out the medical and juridical knowledge. It considers presents the subjects of the relationship individual-society and the rationalization process in the constitution of the inherent practices to the prison and the speech legitimador of the mental disease. This part of the work is based on Michel Foucault's theoretical line, where the madness and the prison are analyzed by the functions that they fill in the modem societies. In the second it leaves, the work introduces the individual, internal in the judiciary insane asylum, identified out of the meshes of the power and of the control, that builds sociability spaces and, in these spaces it guarantees the return of the " me ", because they are in those spaces that it creates again its identity, its subject condition, that possesses own voice. Far away from they be products of the surveillance, without voice and without face, institucionalizados for the norms and rules, the interns are subject, that live and they want to live, even if for that they need to manufacture a parallel world.
