Conhecimento e moral : análise da noçao nietzscheana de verdade presente no ensaio

Abstract

Resumo: A partir da análise da noção de verdade trabalhada por Nietzsche no ensaio "Sobre Verdade e Mentira no Sentido Extra-moral", o presente trabalho investiga em primeiro plano a insuficiência e impossibilidade da verdade no seu sentido clássico como delineado pelo autor, o que envolve as noções de metáfora e criação artística; e, num segundo plano, as bases da formação na crença da verdade entram em foco, o que demanda a observação do aparato moral aí envolvido. Esses dois planos mencionados, que se apresentam sob um enfoque primeiro epistemológico e depois moral, são ligados por alguns traços comuns. O mais evidente diz respeito à crítica desenvolvida por Nietzsche no que se refere à verdade. Outro traço relevante trata da noção nietzscheana de que a esfera consciente não é autônoma ou superior à esfera instintiva. Nesse contexto, o mundo que se apresenta aos homens como objeto de conhecimento, está irremediavelmente preso às criações inerentes às atividades instintivas, que se exercem pela necessidade de busca de prazer e fuga ao desprazer; e, no âmbito da consciência, o mundo é justificado e interpretado por força da atuação dessas mesmas necessidades. Com isso o trabalho pontua a verdade e o conhecimento como criações necessárias, que em face do desconhecimento do que ocorre instintivamente e devido a atuação da ação moral, passam a valer como elementos válidos e existentes em si mesmos. Por fim, desenvolve-se que aquela necessidade de prazer, que toma forma como justificação da vida, é sustentada pelo impulso à verdade criado entre os homens.

Abstract: Beginning with the analysis of the notion of truth worked on by Nietzsche in his essay "On Truth and Lie in an Extra Moral Sense ", the present work investigates on the first level the insufficiency and impossibility of truth in its classic sense as laid out by the author, which involves the notions of metaphor and artistic creation; and, on a second level, the basis of the formation of the belief in the truth comes into focus, which demands the observation of the moral apparatus therein involved. These two mentioned levels, which show themselves firstly under an epistemological focus and secondly moral, are linked by some common traces. The most obvious refers to the criticism developed by Nietzsche with regards to truth. Another relevant trait refers to the Nietzsehean notion that the conscious sphere is not autonomous or superior to the instinctive sphere. In this context, the world which is portrayed to men as an object of knowledge, is irremediably tied to the inherent creations of instinctive activities, which are exerted by the necessity of search for pleasure and escape from displeasure; and, in the confines of consciousness, the world is justified and interpreted due to these same necessities. Therefore this work points truth and knowledge as necessary creations, which in the face of not knowing what occurs instinctively and due to the influence of moral action, they become elements valid and existing within themselves. Lastly, it is developed that that necessity for pleasure, which takes the form of life's justification, is Sustained by the impulse of truth created amongst men.
