O sofrimento psíquico subjacente a mulheres com anorexia

Abstract

Resumo: Esta pesquisa visa compreender o sofrimento psíquico subjacente a mulheres com anorexia a partir da abordagem teórico-metodológica psicanalítica. Nossa hipótese é a de que o sofrimento que subjaz no psiquismo da anoréxica é a melancolia, uma neurose narcísica caraterizada pelo conflito entre ego e superego. Para verificação da hipótese, realizamos uma ampla revisão bibliográfica, bem como quatro entrevistas com três mulheres que apresentaram anorexia em sua adolescência. A revisão de literatura se iniciou com a compreensão de como se dá a constituição psíquica do sujeito social a partir da fase oral. Em seguida, partiu para a averiguação da relação entre a melancolia e as vicissitudes da oralidade. Posteriormente, vimos qual a relação entre a anorexia e a melancolia, por que a anorexia tende a se manifestar em mulheres na adolescência e o que faz com que as anoréxicas cheguem ao ponto de darem-se a morrer. Finalmente, averiguamos como e se é possível uma intervenção psicanalítica eficaz com pacientes anoréxicas. A revisão de literatura corroborou nossa hipótese de que a melancolia pode ser o sofrimento que subjaz no psiquismo da anoréxica e encontramos indícios nos relatos das entrevistadas que indicam que duas delas apresentam um padecimento melancólico, embora uma não. Concluímos, assim, que há diferentes anorexias, e que diante da singularidade de cada de caso e do conflito psíquico por eles apresentado, diferentes direções de tratamento se revelam como mais eficazes na abordagem psicanalítica diante dessa problemática. Abstract: This research aims to comprehend the psychological suffering underlying in women with anorexia through psychoanalytical theoretic-methodologic approach. Our hypothesis is that the suffering that underlies in the psyche of anorexic women is melancholia, a narcissistic neurosis characterized by being a conflict between ego and superego. In order to verify the presented hypothesis we conducted a wide literature review, as well as four interviews with three women that had anorexia in their adolescence. The literature review started with the comprehension on how the psychic constitution of social subjects becomes possible through the oral phase. Then, it investigated the connection between melancholia and the vicissitudes of the orality, the reason why anorexia tends to be manifested by women in their adolescence and what makes anorexics give themselves to death. Finally, we verified how and if an effective psychoanalytical intervention is possible with anorexic patients. The literature review corroborated our hypothesis that melancholia may be the psychological suffering that underlies in women with anorexia and we found evidence in the reports of the women who were interviewed that two of them present a melancholic suffering, while another one doesn't. Therefore, we concluded that there are different kinds of anorexia and that based on the uniqueness of each case, as well as on the conflict that each patient presents, different treatment directions reveal to be more effective when treating psychoanalytically patients with anorexia.
