Análise dos acidentes de trabalho fatais notificados em Curitiba no período de 2008 a 2011

Abstract

Resumo: Atualmente é difícil estimar a magnitude dos acidentes de trabalho fatais ocorridos no país visto que algumas fontes de informações limitam seus dados a populações circunscrita de trabalhadores. Assim sendo, torna-se relevante a investigação da mortalidade ocupacional em nosso meio, cuja gravidade é apenas tangenciada pelas estatísticas oficiais. Nesse trabalho foi realizado um estudo retrospectivo, descritivo e quantitativo a cerca dos acidentes de trabalho fatais notificados ao Sinan na cidade de Curitiba no período de 2008 a 2011. Foram analisadas as seguintes características: sexo, idade, situação no mercado de trabalho, tipo de acidente de trabalho, ocupação e causa do acidente de trabalho. Nesse período foram notificados 1917 casos de acidente de trabalho graves ao Sinan sendo que 75 foram os casos de óbitos. Observou-se que as características mais prevalentes foram ser do sexo masculino, ter idade de 31 a 45 anos, empregados com carteira assinada, ramo da construção civil e como causa a queda de nível. Conclui-se que é grande o impacto dos acidentes de trabalho fatais na sociedade brasileira e que através de medidas de prevenção contínua, segurança e de saúde no trabalho é que se pode prevenir ou reduzir os acidentes de trabalho fatais.

Abstract: Currently it is difficult to estimate the magnitude of fatal occupational accidents occurred in the country since some information sources limit your data to populations limited to workers. Thus, it becomes relevant to the investigation of occupational mortality in our midst, whose gravity is only cited by official statistics. This work was carried out a retrospective study, descriptive and quantitative about fatal accidents notified to Sinan in Curitiba during the period from 2008 to 2011. Were analyzed the following characteristics: sex, age, labour market situation, type of accident at work, occupation and cause of accidents at work. During this period 1917 have been reported cases of serious accidents at work to Sinan and 75 were the cases of deaths. It was observed that the most prevalent characteristics were being male, having age of 31 to 45 years old, employed with officially registered branch, the construction business and how it causes fall level. It is concluded that is great the impact of fatal work accidents in brazilian society and that through continuous prevention measures, security and health at work is that you can prevent or reduce fatal work accidents
