Impactos sócio-ambientais do turismo em áreas litorâneas : um estudo de percepção ambiental nos balneários de Praia de Leste, Santa Teresinha e Ipanema - Paraná

Abstract

Resumo: O turismo, considerado um fenômeno sociocultural característico da sociedade capitalista industrial urbanizada, vem ultimamente se propagando nas mais diferentes formas, inclusive despertando maiores interesses no uso de áreas naturais de preservação. O presente trabalho propõe como objetivo, realizar um estudo de percepção na visão dos moradores sobre os impactos sócio-ambientais ocasionados pela atividade turística nos balneários de Praia de Leste, Santa Teresinha e Ipanema, no litoral do Estado do Paraná. Tal estudo visa um levantamento a fim de detectar, através da Percepção ambiental, as possíveis transformações ocorridas, bem como a identificação de meios que possam minimizar os impactos negativos e conhecer as expectativas dos moradores quanto ao melhoramento local. Sabe-se que muitos fatores contribuem de forma significativa para desarmonizar as relações existentes entre a sociedade e a natureza, e entre estes, se coloca o turismo das altas temporadas de veraneio, gerando impactos e provocando transformações. Para tanto, adotou-se a Percepção como orientação epistemológica para o estudo, calcada na subjetividade e na experiência vivida, afim de melhor compreender a conduta e a reação dos indivíduos face à realidade sócio- econômica e ambiental do meio. Acompanhando esta tendência, avaliações sobre percepção de impactos sócio-ambientais do turismo em áreas litorâneas, vêm cada vez mais merecendo a atenção de técnicos e pesquisadores acadêmicos, podendo dessa forma, fornecer subsídios a programas de gestão, no sentido de proporcionar um conjunto de bases reais para análise, interpretação e planejamento de espaços turistificados.

Abstract: The tourism, considered characteristic a social and cultural phenomenon of the urban industrial capitalist society, comes lately if propagating in the most different forms, also stimulating bigger interests in the use of natural areas of preservation. The present work considers, as objective, to carry through a study of perception in the vision of the inhabitants on the social and ambient impacts caused by the tourist activity in the Beach health-resorts of Praia de Leste, Santa Teresinha and Ipanema, in the coast of the State of the Paraná. Such study, it aims at a similar survey to detect through the ambient Perception, the possible occurred transformations as well as the identification of ways that can minimize the negative impacts and know the expectations of the inhabitants how much to the local improvement. It knows that many factors contribute of significant form to disharmonize the existing relations between the society and the nature, and between these, if it places the tourism of the high seasons of summering, generating impacts and provoking transformations. For in such a way, it was adopted Perception as epistemological orientation for the study, based on the subjectivity and the lived, similar experience of better understanding the behavior and the reaction of the individuals front to the social and economic and ambient reality of the way. Following this trend, evaluations on perception of social and ambient impacts of the tourism in areas of the coast, come each time more deserving the academic attention of technician and researchers, being able of this form, to supply to subsidies the management programs, in the direction to provide a set of real bases analysis, interpretation and planning of the tourism spaces.
