O pico (1,0,0), resultante da difracao dos picos (1, [Mais ou menos Delta], 0) e (1, 0, [Mais ou menos Delta]), tambem foi investigado, e o comportamento da amplitude e da largura assemelhouse ao observado para os picos satelites Abstract: Chromium exhibits traveling antiferromagnetism characterized by spin density waves (Spin Density Waves - SDW) that are incommensurable with the reciprocal lattice, that is, the periodicity of the SDW does not coincide with the lattice parameter. Furthermore, an antiferromagnetic-paramagnetic phase transition occurs in chromium at a temperature of 311 K. Chromium alloys have attracted the attention of the scientific community due to their wide variety and the possibility of conducting experimental studies on electrical and magnetic transitions associated with " nesting" with the Fermi surface. Specifically, chromium alloys doped with vanadium are of interest to study, as vanadium is capable of causing measurable changes in several physical properties of chromium, especially close to the Neel temperature and in the paramagnetic phase. This work aimed to analyze neutron diffraction data from monocrystalline chromium samples doped with 0.2% vanadium, measured as a function of temperature and with the application of a magnetic field. The data were obtained from the Double-Axis Diffractometer . E4, from the Helmholtz-Zentruem Berlin fur Materialen und Energie laboratory, located in Berlin, Germany. To achieve this objective, the sample was analyzed using the neutron diffraction technique in four different analysis protocols: FC0T, FC5T, ZFC0T and ZFC5T, observing the SDW around the position (1,0,0). The position of the diffraction peak, its intensity and width were considered in this analysis. It was found that the spin-flip temperature for this alloy was located in a region of temperatures close to 100 K, due to the behavior observed for the satellite peaks (1[Mais ou menos Delta],0,0) of SDW. Below this temperature, no values were observed for the satellite peaks, indicating that the spins passed from a transversal polarization to a longitudinal polarization in relation to the Q wave vector. The amplitude of the peaks gradually decreased with increasing temperature until they disappeared at the transition from magnetic phase of the alloy, observed at approximately 288 K. Regarding the width of the peaks, which represents the size of the material's magnetic domain, it showed a relatively regular behavior in a temperature range between 100 K and 280 K, when a change in the size of the magnetic domains before the magnetic phase transition. The peak (1,0,0), resulting from the diffraction of peaks (1, }[Mais ou menos Delta], 0) and (1, 0, }[Mais ou menos Delta]), was also investigated, and the behavior of amplitude and width resembled that observed to satellite peaks.
