The purpose of this work is to study several examples of synchronization in two coupled oscillators. Initially, the coupling of two regular periodic oscillators was analyzed. When identical, they exhibit a zero synchronization threshold, causing the system to enter phase locking regardless of the coupling strength. The remaining analyses were carried out on chaotic oscillators. For the Lorenz oscillator, complete synchronization was investigated. It was found that the synchronization threshold appears after a critical value, at which the second-largest Lyapunov exponent at infinite time changes from positive to negative. It was also evident that the choice of coupling variable plays a crucial role. In the Rossler oscillator, phase synchronization was studied, and it was observed that the second exponent does not need to be negative for synchronization to occur. This type of synchronization shares several similarities with that of regular oscillators, but the system does not exhibit strict phase locking.instead, the phase differences fluctuate around a certain average value. Finally, the coupling of two double scroll circuits via the y variable was explored, with a coupling coefficient proportional to a control resistance ([Zeta Alfa] Rc). In this system, a phenomenon emerged in which the oscillators transitioned between synchronized and desynchronized states following an intermittent pattern known as on-offintermittency. In the early stages of this case, the infinite-time Lyapunov exponent does not accurately describe the data, making it necessary to employ finite-time transversal Lyapunov exponents (FTLEs) and analyze their distribution. In this coupling scheme, the intermittency is transient, and the system may settle into either full synchronization or desynchronization depending on whether the infinite-time Lyapunov exponent and the FTLE distribution are predominantly negative or positive, respectively
