Estudos de gravimetria no Estado do Paraná : tratamento de dados existentes e novas interpretacoes

Abstract

Resumo: Este projeto reuniu e organizou os dados gravimétricos existentes referentes ao Estado do Paraná. O processamento desses dados incluiu as etapas de redução, gridagem e aplicação de filtros. A análise dos dados, integrada às informações geológicas e geofísicas já existentes, revelou uma correlação robusta entre os lineamentos gravimétricos e as feições geológicas. Uma revisão bibliográfica foi conduzida, estabelecendo uma base nas últimas descobertas e técnicas no campo dos estudos gravimétricos. A redução gravimétrica foi realizada exclusivamente com o uso das bibliotecas Python gratuitas do projeto Fatiando a Terra. A gravidade teórica na superfície física da Terra foi calculada utilizando a Fórmula de Lakshmanan e LiGötze, empregada pelo algoritmo do Fatiando a Terra, um método que substitui o uso de anomalias de gravidade por distúrbios da gravidade. Os resultados obtidos foram comparados com informações provenientes de trabalhos anteriores, fortalecendo assim o aprimoramento do entendimento geológico e geofísico no Estado do Paraná. Os dados brutos estão disponíveis no GitHub e serão posteriormente incluídos no repositório da UFPR como REA (Recurso Educacional Aberto)

Abstract: This project gathered and organized existing gravimetric data related to the state of Paraná. The processing of this data included reduction, gridding, and filter application stages. The analysis of the data, integrated with existing geological and geophysical information, revealed a robust correlation between gravimetric lineaments and geological features. A thorough bibliographic review was conducted, establishing a foundation in the latest discoveries and techniques in the field of gravimetric studies. The gravimetric reduction was performed exclusively using the free Python libraries from the Fatiando a Terra project. The theoretical gravity was calculated using the Lakshmanan and LiGötze Formula, employed by the Fatiando a Terra algorithm, a method that eliminates the need for the traditional Free Air Reduction. The obtained results were compared with information from previous works, thereby strengthening the improvement of geological and geophysical understanding in the state of Paraná. The raw data is available on GitHub and will be subsequently included in the UFPR repository as REA (Open Educational Resource)
