Microbacia do rio Vila Formosa Curitiba - PR : diagnóstico e zoneamento ambiental como subsídio ao planejamento

Abstract

Resumo: O estudo de bacias hidrográficas tem demandado na atualidade metodologias diversas de análise ambiental. A proposição aqui aplicada recomenda a investigação da qualidade hídrica como principal indicador da degradação do ambiente. O presente estudo de degradação esteve apoiado na cartografação temática, paralela à investigação da qualidade hídrica, como diagnóstico do quadro natural e social, na Microbacia do Rio Vila Formosa (MVF) em Curitiba – PR. A problemática local aparece sob a forma de grandes quantidades de resíduos sólidos, dejetos domésticos e industriais, mau cheiro, ausência de vegetação ciliar, esgotos à céu aberto, ocupação irregular, condições precárias de alguns habitantes, entre outros. Através do zoneamento ambiental verificou-se que a situação ambiental na MVF é crítica e alarmante, sendo necessário e urgente agir no sentido de recuperar e conservar o ambiente.

Abstract: At the present time, study of hidrographia basins has demanded in the present time diverse methodologies of ambient analysis. The proposal applied here recommends the inquiry of the hídrica quality as main pointer of the degradation of the environment. The present degradation study was based on thematic cartography and on the inquiry of the hidric quality, as disgnostic of the social and natural conditions at Vila Formosa River Microbasin (MVF) in Curitiba – PR. Problematic in the place appears under the form of great amounts of solid trashes, domestic and industrial dejections, bad smells, absence of ciliar vegetation, sewers at open sky, irregular occupation and inhabitants under precarious conditions, among other factors. By ambiental zone studies it was verified that situation at MVF is critical and alarming, making the rescue and to conserve of the environment very necessary and urgent.
