Abstract: The objective of this experiment was to verify the development aspects of the specie Pyllostachys pubescens (bamboo) under different treatment conditions: fertilization, liming, and soil humidity, and evaluating the efficiency of these treatments on the initial growth (sprouting) of this specie. All experiments were conducted at the Pontifícia Catholic University, in Tijucas do Sul, Paraná, located at an attitude of 1,075m above sea level according to Köppen classification Cfb. An experimental area of 3,500 m² in total was used which was divided according to delinement in random blocks, the four (4) blocks represent 4 levels of humidity (BL1, BL2, BL3, BL4). Each of these blocks was further divided into 2 sub-blocks, one with the correction of the pH(calcite) (C2) and the other without the correction of the pH(C1) and each sub-block, was further divided into 3 parcels in dimensions of 10x10m, receiving 3 different treatments, (1) without fertilizer(A1), (2) chemical fertilizer(A2) and (3) organic fertilizer(A3). Each parcel contained 6 holes in dimension of 40 x 40 x40cm, a total of 144 holes distributed in 24 parcels.Soil analysis test were done to determine the demand for calcite (calcium carbonate, Cal), with the aim of elevating alkaline saturation and to determine the necessity of soil fertilization. The sub-blocks C2 were limed using calcite dolomite (PRNT 100%) which was distributed (thrown) by hand using 3,5 tons/hectare, followed by the plowing of the soil so that the calcite could be incorporated into it. After 90 days the holes were dug and the chemical fertilizer NPK in the proportion 10-20-10 was added in the amount of 3g/hole and the organic fertilizer, earthworm humus, in the proportion of 500g/hole was placed in there respective holes. This was followed by planting of 6 seedlings per parcel. In the centre of each block Piesometric wells were installed to monitor the water level below the soil, along with a tensionmeter, with the aim of verifying the soil water tension and the rainfall levels provided by Simepar, along the duration of the experiment, were used to compare the growth of the bamboo with the amount of rainfall during this period. The sprouts of each seedling of bamboo were measured using the following criterion: measuring the height of the major sprout each 2 weeks to determine how the conditions nutritional and the humidity affect the development the sprouting bamboo. The F test was used to analyze the statistical information because of the use of 6 qualitative treatments. The F test indicates the existence of significant differences statistically or the tendency for differences between treatments and to define where these differences happen in these treatments and to compare and contrast the treatments. The results obtained and submitted to statistical analysis, showed that there was a significant difference between the treatments and between the average tendencies, being that the greatest production of accumulated biomass was obtained in the parcels that received calcite + organic fertilizer, followed by the parcel that did not receive calcite + organic fertilizer. The least productive accumulated biomass was obtained in the treatment with calcite + chemical fertilizer, which could suggest interaction between the nutrients in the soil and the elevation of the pH which changes from 4.6 to 6.2 after liming. Although there was no block/block effect, it was possible through the correlation obtained through graph analysis to establish a direct relation between the aglomeration and the availability of water in the soil, measured through the use of the tensiometria, piesiometria e pluviometria, and the major development of the sprouts.
